The middle is no doubt the best sitcom since Everybody Loves Raymond got cancelled. An incredibly funny cast of characters, and each episode a great storyline, this is the best ABC show in a long time. Well done ABC, well done. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The hour-long third season premiere for THE MIDDLE was certainly not as funny as the previous season was. It was a good way to start some changes (i.e. Sue entering high school, the source of a recurring joke), and overall, it continues as a sometimes-hilarious family comedy. As with the second season, I will continue to watch as many episodes as I can, and I would recommend it for a family who is looking for a nice, wholesome, funny show to watch. Expand
