This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the start of the Simpson family's golden age. It has an assortment of classic episodes:
"Bart Gets an F", the reaction to the Bartmania craze.
"Simpson and Delilah", when Homer gets hair.
    The first-ever "Treehouse of Horror".
"Dead Putting Society", which is a competitive look at miniature golf.
"Bart the Daredevil", which features the infamous scene of Homer falling down a gorge.
"The Way We Was", the first flashback episode.
"Homer vs. Lisa & the 8th Commandment", which won an Emmy.
"Lisa's Substitute", with guest star Sam Etic (Dustin Hoffman).
This is an overall hilarious season. It has satire, angst, and a feeling you just can't describe.

The simpsons nasceu grande, sua primeira temporada mostrou logo seu senso critico elevado e humor acido, a segunda temporada mantem elevado o talento criativo tornado essa animação um clássico mundial.

The Simpsons first full twenty-two episode run sees the series gradually transforming into the show we all know and love. The animation and character design are far more consistent than in the first season and reoccurring characters such as Dr Hibbert and Comic Store Guy are introduced.

Brilliantly funny The Simpsons at is best, unlike more recent seasons, was also capable of genuine
emotion as demonstrated by episodes such as Lisa's Substitute. It may have been shown endlessly on TV but I for one will never tire of watching the best animated show ever produced. Expand

By no means is it the best season, Season 2 is still a monumental year in the Simpsons development, featuring many classics like "Lisa's Substitute'" and "Itchy and Scratchy & Marge".

Aun le quedaba bastante por mejorar pero hay una cierta mejora desde la primera temporada. Tiene algunos capítulos memorables e inició los capítulos de Halloween, por eso le doy un 7.
