  1. This sly Britcom is like a C-SPAN spin-off of... The Office. [12 May 2006, p.75]
  2. A wonderful, brilliantly brutal, scathing look at British politics.
  3. Think of "The Office," "Larry Sanders," "Spin City" and "Yes Minister" rolled into one delirious stew.

Absolutely hilarious, turns swearing into poetry.

This is, in my estimation, the funniest show of all time. And one need not be from the UK to appreciate the political in-humor. General scenarios are applicable to US and CAN also. Although based on real people, it's general enough to be hilarious to just about anyone. Highest possible recommendation. Expand

It is somewhat excruciating, although not as much as The Office (assuming that you work in an office and not govnt). But the pain is worth it: "defecation outrage" still has us laughing. Expand

A few laugh out loud moments through out along with a solid plot definitely make it worth checking out. The characters are likable as well, Peter Capaldi being the star as the foul mouthed Malcolm Tucker. This season consists of just three 30 minute episodes so why not take a chance on it. Expand

The constant extremely shaky camera is making me sick. I get dizzy after only a couple minutes.
Besides making me physically sick, the show
doesn't make me laugh either. Maybe I am not into English comedy. Expand
