   This show is unreal. By far the best animated series since the early years of The Simpsons. The writing is nothing short of amazing. Clever turns of phrase and dialogue, witty visual gags, and great continuity. 10/10, hands-down.… Expand

   This is perhaps on of the most original animated series in the last 40 years. It is excellently written. The voice cast is second to none. Even on Adult Swim, where it has plenty of company, it still sets itself apart from crowd. It's not a kids show, and it's not even playing the same sport Family Guy, The Simpsons or South Park play, yet it is worthy to share the field with any of them.    Be prepared for a throwback with The Venture Brothers. It pays homage to all young "boy adventurer" shows of the 1960s and 1970s, and even contains a few references to other pop culture as well. The story follows the life of Dr. Thaddius "Rusty" Venture, his two sons, Hank and Dean, and their bodyguard, Brock Sampson. In what is a essentially a long story about the harshness of reality, the overall plot shows how the Venture family combats their over-the-top villains, deal with the unusual nature of super science, and live out their bleak lives with a sense of "normalcy". The show is going into its fifth season, and shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. I would recommend this show to anyone, but the episodes do fall flat in deliverance of their jokes sometimes.
