The Walking Dead
Autoplay On Off
Its brisk pacing, big action, and focus on the camaraderie between the Alexandria, Hilltop, and Kingdom survivors makes for super entertaining television which makes you feel good without trivializing the drama. ... The episode offers more than popcorn-movie thrills and chills, however. Balancing out the mayhem is an understated, poignant father-son moment between Rick and Carl.
The urge to expand the story beyond the constant flight from mindless flesh-munchers is understandable. But much of the dread, as well as emotional urgency, has gone out of the show in the process. ... The staging of the action in the season premiere, in which Rick, Maggie and XXX lead an attack on the Saviors compound, feels well below the show’s previous standard, like Michael Bay on a bad day.

There's actually 15 minutes of ads and 45 minute of show time. This season has been fantastic and has made us become emotionally attached to recently added characters such as Shiva, Jerry, Ezekiel, Kal and arguably Tara. They have managed to develop characters, tell a story and do action all of in one episode. This is a huge step-up from Season 7 where they only focused one developing one character per episode (Tara's standalone episode for example). I love the direction the show is going and can't wait to see more from what will be the best season to-date!… Expand

Nov 21, 2017Please stop. I don't even know why i am still watching this.
And they know that, they know that we don't even know why we are stillPlease stop. I don't even know why i am still watching this.
And they know that, they know that we don't even know why we are still watching this, and they keep making the same crap over and over again.
Season 7 was already terrible, a whole seasons of:
-"Omg, just shoot him now"
- "Please, there is no possible reason at all to not shot him now, just go ahead and shoot"
And i was already dead-tired of this whole saviors-thing.
I really, really hoped that they were going to end it with season 7, but nope.
Here is another season about the damn Saviours, and Negan.
Do you even realize you have a post-apocalyptic world full of potential and interesting things that might happen?
And you are really so scared to try anything different? We have already seen this super-villain pile of crap the past 5 seasons, we are tired.
Move on, give us something new.
The logic of all this is under a bus right now, there were so many chances where they could had just shot Negan that i can't take it anymore.
Make them advance somehow in the research of the disease, of a cure, omg, think of something, literally anything! Please.
Watching random idiot shooting bullets at nothing in particular for 30mins each episode is just saddening and pathetic.
This show is not even sinking as it should deserve, Fire some writers and start from scratch, please.… Expand

UNTIL it got to season 7 . What can we say about the disaster that this TV show has turned into to ?
The production quality, plot, dialogue , story line, and believability of the show have gone into the toilet.
We wouldn't care so much except this show was brilliant for 6 seasons and developed a hugely loyal fan base, and they have now been slapped in the face with this cheap, poorly written garbage.
AMC must give Scott Gimple the sack asap, and anyone else responsible for this farce.… Expand
