Oct 26, 2013The judges work a lot better this season than the previous ones. Do not care for Rubio though, She's like the X-Factor's pathetic attempt to recreate the magic that Shakira had on The Voice and it simply doesn't cut it. Rubio is very awkward and pretty much non-existent on the show, Don't be surprised to see her get the boot when the season is done.
That being said, I love how much faster paced the show is. They cut out all the people going to train with the Judges and instead cut out all the poor singers right from the jump. So immediately they go to just 10 singers in each category. Then they have the four chair sing off (also a new addition to the show) where the top 4 get a seat. Sure they had a few questionable removals and additions but overall, I still prefer it over the previous format. It's far faster pace and less time consuming. Now the show is on a break and is soon heading to the live shows.
So overall, Being faster paced and more enjoyable to watch is certainly a huge plus but I think trying to imitate The Voice sort of hurts them. Still a solid show though so I have no complaints.… Full Review »
Oct 20, 2013I know that somehow Paulina makes comments that don't make sense but she's still funny and adorable. Other people are so racist. :D Simon and Demi are still the best judges but Kelly is also someone who's too honest or too vulnerable as a judge. BUT PEOPLE!!!! THIS SHOW IS NOT ABOUT THE JUDGES! It is about the acts. Duh. Give X Factor USA Season 3 some slack! The acts are so great especially the girls and the Over 25s. This will be an swesome season!… Full Review »
Sep 21, 2013Things are starting to get bad and worse for Season 3 for The X-Factor. Millions of people skipped including myself to watch NBC's 10-night quiz show called "The Million Second Quiz." Season 1 was okay, Season 2 was terrible, but I don't know about Season 3. I think this will be a tough sell for FOX now that NBC's The Voice is back and still slamming the likes of Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, and all of its competition reality shows in the dust. Maybe I think I'll like to see "Sorry, X-Factor, Go back to your native hometown (U.K.) and don't ever make another 4th season, again." X-Factor USA is dead, D.O.A, buried, finished, finito, gone.… Full Review »
