That producers opt to tell a different Titanic story is admirable in light of so many filmed versions of the story that already exist, including a four-hour miniseries that aired on ABC earlier this year. But the decision not to reveal the fates of the miniseries' fictional characters may feel like a cheat to anyone who invests 12 hours in this program.

Though it is flat and obvious at times, and some might call it ill-paced--I think of it as leisurely--it is only a little sanctimonious and not at all stuffed.

I truly was captivated by the stage, the characters and most importantly the conviction for such a project the people portrayed. I was so encapsulated by the story in this miniseries my curiousity made me search biographies on the men behind the Titanic. Ah, one thing I smiled about to myself, those men accomplished what they set out to do to make Titanic a great legend indeed. I am ever so fascinated with this story that I want to see more of the miniseries directed by Ciaran Donnelly and Written by Francesca Brill and Alan Whiting. I can't wait to see more! Thank you to the creators for creating such a masterpiece appealing to eye and constantly burning with desire for more!!!!! Season 2 I await your debut. Expand
