Just think of all the stolen ideas as a public works program for Hollywood lawyers and stick to the action on-screen, which is quite entertaining.

[Viewers] may get a kick out of the mix of adrenaline and murk. [26 Jun 2006, p.41]
  3. An ideal summer entertainment for armchair travelers.

The problem with "Treasure Hunters" is the same problem with "Amazing Race": It just feels like all the competing teams are spinning their wheels by solving clues.
  5. "Treasure Hunters" is too flimsy a pillar to help structure NBC's reality-television future.
  6. It is obvious in just the first few minutes who the real winners are -- members of the NBC sales department. Collectively, they have taken product placement to new and annoying heights.
  7. Dull and plodding, "Hunters" is no reality TV treasure.

It's an interesting show where watchers can also try and solve the clues if they're quick enough. I love the idea of having two sets of teams that don't know about one another. Great spin! Expand

My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed this show. We tune in every week and have fun trying to solve the riddles. I t is almost interactive because it makes you think, instead of just sitting there like a vegetable. I hope th ex-cia team takes it all. Expand

The first part was a boring, but the part in the Black Hills was more interesting. It was lame that the YPs were eliminated; they were by no means the worst. Expand

The show is built upon the genius of others. Who cares? The show entertains even when the contestants somewhat boring personalities don't. The Fogel family plays the bad guys so well that you love to root against them. Could this show be better? Yes. Does that mean it's not worth watching? No. Give it a shot and see what you think. This show was... how should i say it.. STUPID!!! and I like reality tv shows!!! This is no Amazing Race. (Which is the best Reality/Adventure show on TV.) This show was so over produced and corny and stale with the fake video cell phone messages to the cast. And dont let me forget the way over acted and produced first meeting of the the two sets of five teams at the end of the first hour... how stupid looking were the casts facial expresssions... (oh who are you guys?... oh no! it's another set of teams.. this wont be easy now!.. (man that was stupid). I can just see the produces say ok you five teams run around this corner and then you five teams run around this corner and be surprised when you meet the other five teams. I Hope this show can show a little bit of imrovement in the comming weeks. I have more to say but I am done for now. Expand
