One spin of the wheel can win you as much as P2,000,000.00 in cash in ABS-CBN's version of Wheel of Fortune, one of the longest-running syndicated game shows in the United States. A vast knowledge and luck will come into play as three contestants vie for the biggest single prize pot in the country every weeknight.
The game format resembles that of the original US version. The object of the game is to accumulate the highest money value (cash and prizes) up until the last round of Elimination play. Elimination is divided into several rounds -- Round 1, Round 2 (Jackpot Round), Round 3 (containing the Mystery wedge), and the Speed-Up Round. Toss-ups determine which player will spin first for every round of play. Whoever has the highest cash and prizes at the end of Elimination goes on to the Bonus Round for the chance to win between P50,000.00 up to P2,000.000.00 in cash.
In each round, a hidden word/phrase puzzle appears on the puzzle board. The player guesses a letter from the board until he or she can guess the word or phrase, much like in the kids' game Hangman. Every correct letter guess is revealed. Every correct consonant amounts to the value spun on the wheel (ranging from P3,000.00 to P200,000.00) and every correct vowel costs P2,500.00.
In the Bonus Round, the smaller spinning wheel determines the Bonus prize that can be won. The player is given 10 seconds to guess the word or phrase on the Bonus Round Puzzle Board. Pre-determined letters (K,S,T,L,N,E) are awarded freely, and the player is made to choose another three consonants and a vowel. The more correct letters the contestant guesses, the easier it is for him or her to solve the puzzle.
People from all over the country can join through text messaging. Contestants will be drawn via electronic raffle and is announced on the succeeding Wheel of Fortune episode.
