    Wipeout does have a crackpot obstacle course and its own sometimes hilarious commentators, John Anderson from ESPN's SportsCenter and John Henson from Talk Soup.

    ABC hasn't provided much in advance to watch--smart network!--but there were some clips for Wipeout, and they were (seriously) hilarious.

    In fact, the entire show consists almost entirely of spills, tumbles and falls, most of which fell short of being breathtaking, spectacular or catastrophic.

    Even the contestants seemed to be trying too hard, screaming and making wisecracks for the camera, as if coaxed by the producers or, more likely, their agents.

    What are you critics talking about? This is one of the best shows ever made.

    Its a simple gameshow that simply makes me laugh. Sometimes I ama amazed with the contestants and their personalities. The trash talking is just hilarious. The commentaries by the Johns aren't the best part of the show but it does add humor to it. Although it does have violence to it, you could call this a family show. Even the most depressed will get a laugh out of this.… Expand

    This show is alright in it's own right, but this show pales in comparison MXC on spike which use to air and was the same obstacle course business. The obstacles are good in this, and the competition is pretty cool, I'll actually watch it the odd time but the reason it gets a 5 is because of that god awful announcer; he's BRUTALLY unfunny.… Expand

    The obstacle courses STINK and I hate it! I just can't laugh at pain. Some of those courses could hurt them badly! To sum it all up, it's boring with a capital B!… Expand
