First of all I started playing this game on the PC. I played actively for about a year and then stopped because the game got boring (did too many TIII content, orokin vaults etc.). After half a year it started itching again to pick up this game. To my surprised there was a lot of new content and the game was fun to play again. Then I got bored again after half a year (which is now combined already more time than I spent in most games). At some point the game released on Xbox and I decided to try again. Again a lot was added (including archwing) and I noticed how well the game played on Xbox compared to most shooters.
Now for some more indepth (now you know how much I have played this game). Everything you can buy in the store can also be bought by grinding so the game is NOT pay to win. Most of the stuff is easy to grind for and does not require you to spend any money. This is not a game where you need to have a mandatory setup of certain weapons/warframes. 90% off all content can be finished with all weapons in game. The last 10 % you maybe need slightly better weapons (obviously the starter Braton MK1 is not going to cut it in end game) but you can still just use the weapons you have fun with. The devs are very active compared to most games. New content is added regularly and there is always something to do. The amount of players is also suprisingly high for a game that has been around this long.
One thing that always keeps me coming back to this game is the combat. It is just feels so right. I've played many shooters on both PC and Console but in the end I always keep coming back to PC because the controls are just so much more accurate. Whereas a lot of shooters feel clunky and the weapons mostly seem boring there are some exceptions (I hate COD, but the weapons always feel right in that game) like Warframe. Aiming works very well (no overexaggerated autoaim like in some games). The guns are extremely customizable, the weapon sounds are just amazing. You can also use the environment to jump around and use it to your advantage. Each warframe is unique and has it's own abilities. Want to play stealthy assasin? You can. Want to play Rambo? You can? Want to play a phsychic mind controlling killer? You can? Want to play with fire? Yes... you can.
The missions vary from exterminate (where you just have to kill everything), spy(where you have to play stealthily and capture an objective), flying missions where you fly around in space and do any neccisary objective, endless wave missions and so on. When you are done clearing all the planets you can continue on to end game material where you can get so called prime warframes and weapons.
There is a lot to do in this game (in contrary to what some people might say here) and if you like it it will probably keep you entertained for a long time. Some of the negative reviews are ofcourse legit complaints, but some just contain lots of misinformation or very old information (which is not relevant anymore since a lot of content has been added since).… Expand

The initial reception was really bad whenAbsolutely an amazing game. I have to be honest and say that I was really sceptic about this game. The initial reception was really bad when it came out a year ago and after playing the beta myself I was left with really mixed feelings about TESO. It felt like Zenimax tried to cash in on Bethesda's succes with TES. After a year and lots of polishing Zenimax released Tamriel Unlimited. Having no subscription fee and being the big elder scrolls fan that I am I decided to go for it and try the game. I have to say that Zenimax really pulled of a nice job with Tamriel Unlimited. All of the initial releases flaws have been fixed and the combat is much better now (the beta always felt like you were slicing thin air with your sword).
Questing is generally really well thought out in this game and they almost never feel like a chore unlike other MMO's. That being said this game has a much more involving story than MMO's like Wildstar, WoW (although admittedly Wotlk was really good) and TERA which I have also played. The combat is simply amazing and the first person mode makes the game feel more like an actual RPG than online MMO. All of my favorite Elder Scrolls elements are there. Obviously when you compare the game to the single player elder scrolls games some elements might feel dumbed down like the combat, but for MMO standards they are simply great and beat other games like TERA (which is one of the best combat systems in an MMO in my opinion). Then other elements like story and lore are worked out much better and feel more like back playing Morrowind and Oblivion (Skyrim had a pretty dumbed down story line in my opinion). One of the best things about this game the fact that you can group like in any other MMO but are never forced to! If you want to play alone, play alone! If you want to play in groups, play in groups! The world is simply huge and its a big plus for me that I am able to visit multiple zones. The zones look simply gorgeous for MMO standards and textures on armor etc. are really well done.
If you are an elder scrolls fan you will love this game for the lore and story, if you are an MMO fan you will love this game for being refreshing and taking a different approach to combat and questing as other MMO's. If you like RPG's you will love the fact that you are not forced to play in groups and can also perfectly play the game alone.
I highly recommend this game and suggest you take a look for yourself, the game is not what it was like on launch day (PC) and not having to pay a subscription fee alone makes the game more than worth it. It has way more replay value than any single player RPG out there.… Expand

Maps should be a free DLC and not paid. Companies should be punished for releasing an incomplete product not rewarded.
I honestly don't mind paying for skins/unlocks that have no effect on how well you play. Pay2advance is acceptable (like in League of Legends). Delivering an unfinished product like EA/Dice is doing with BF4 however is not..
The game is enjoyable and probably the best arcade shooter out there but I can not give this game higher than a five because of the money grabbing scheme that EA/Dice is pulling off.… Expand

Seems that activision is one of the few studios that can get away with just rehashing a game year after year and have people pay the full amount of 60 euros for it.
This game is such a shameless ripoff to the previous that it's almost insulting to the gaming industry in general. The critic reviews are obviously paid reviews seeing as this game gets a 9 on average. In short this game doesn't do anything to revolutionize or even improve upon the existing FPS model. It doesn't even give you top notch graphics for the money you pay.… Expand

You can't really go wrong for that kind of money.
If you like games like Raiden that have top down view and weapon upgrades then this is a pretty decent game.
I give this game a 6.5 but my grade is an 8 because of some people giving it a 0 (really people, i can understand that you don't like this game.. but a 0?, thats just pure trolling).… Expand

First off, the visualsAwesome game, I was kind of sceptical at first thinking this game might become another CoD clone. But boy was i wrong! First off, the visuals are stunning! I have never played any game on the Xbox360 that even comes close to looking as good as Crysis 2. The gameplay is also stunning, the way the controls handle is simply amazing and it really shows the game has been specifically designed for the Console. Where as halo in my opinion feels kinda clunky in controls this game is absolutly amazing. The single player is really deep and really sucks you in once you start playing. One of my favorite things about this game is the ability to sneak up cloaked onto an enemy and stealth killing them. The story is well told and makes you feel like you are in a movie. Multiplayer is really well implemented but nothing that has not been done before, still its really well made and very amusing. You have so called nano and weapon upgrades that can change the way you play. The perk system kind of reminds me of CoD. there is a nice selection of game modes that can be chosen from, My favorite till now is probably securing pod drops as a team.
All in all Crytek made a really awesome game in Crysis 2 and the game well deserves all the positive reviews that have been given to it. Fans from the original Crysis will most likely also love this sequel.… Expand

I loved the new zones and some of the quests were really fun (i even did the new Hillsbrad quests on my lvl 85 and they were really fun). However after a month of playing you realize that you are doing the same thing you have been doing in Wotlk. Grinding for gear and money. The changes to raids and dungeons are minimal (except for more CC and added difficulty) but nothing really new.
Now say this game was for free (buy Cataclysm for 30/70 euro and rest is free) this would be a great game. But the current content is just not worth paying a monthly fee for, especially if you have already done most content in Wotlk, Cataclysm is just more of the same. Blizzard had a real gem on their hands with WoW but it is really showing its age. WoW Vanilla/BC/Wotlk were great games and really fun to play but Cataclysm just doesnt cut it anymore for me. The reason i gave this game a 3 is mostly because i think its just not worth the 13 euro per month + 30/70 one time fee.… Expand
