Average User Score: 9.2Mar 6, 2014What a game! If you like the tactical-RPG genre, stop reading and go to your favourite shop ;)
If you are still doubting, the game offers some little twists over the classic genre, with not too long battles, easy to read, all packed with a consistent story and character relation system.
Also, the game can be played in hardcore mode (don't remember the exact name) where the fallen characters die for real, they are out of the party forever. The feeling of care over all of them is awesome, and you will really think deeply your following moves in battle or you will cry later!
In short, in my opinion is a long, perfectly executed and very replayable title. You should buy it!… Expand
Average User Score: 6.2Sep 2, 2013I haven't played any of the previous SR titles, and it's been a while since I laugh so loud while playing a game.
The gameplay is fun, the trials and missions are incredibly fresh with a lot of twists (the 2D beat'em up minigame, omg!) and the story and dialogues are just hilarious.
I don't know if they forgot about the previous values of the franchise, but just considering the game, I will totally recommend it.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.5Aug 27, 2013So far, the game remembers me a lot the feeling of the good old RE games.
I'm not against a more action directed titles, but changing between styles from game to game should be the way to go for Capcom, in my opinion.
In this concrete case, RE:R has a nice plot, excellent visuals and a resources balance getting back the survival feeling properly, and that's good!… Expand
Average User Score: 7.1Jul 3, 2013I don't see too much difference from the 1st and 2nd NG titles: a not specially good story, tons of exigent combats, blood and some weapons, collectibles and skills to improve.
I haven't finished it yet, but so far I'm quite happy with it!… Expand
Average User Score: 9.1Jun 30, 2013If you follow The Walking Dead comics or Crossed, the story will probably not surprise you. It's almost predictable, but Naughty Dog really knows how to change the game pace at every step and how to decorate a level so you don't really notice that there is only one way to go.
Honor mention for the multiplier, a very fresh twist over the classic deathmatch. The loading time for every game is too much and you will stop playing, probably, and that's a pity.
It's a really good game, for sure, but the hype, in my opinion, it's too high in this case.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.8Jun 22, 2013Oh my!
It is a very nice surprise for every MGS fan who also likes the hack'n slash genre.
High paced, spectacular OST, easy to follow storyline (latest MGS games are quite deep and complicated) and a lot of replay value. The game goes very smooth, 60FPS I'd say, and the gameplay is complete and enjoyable.
It's a little short but it has a lot of replay value.
Totally worth it!… Expand
