But thats pretty much itsForza 5 is a solid game that offers the best gameplay the series has seen yet and one with stunning graphics!
But thats pretty much its only major improvement.
Its a totally incomplete product. Its huge lack of tracks, cars and music( as in none at all but 1 song) make you wonder wtf they where thinking. Forza 4 in every way offers a better content.
The game tries so hard to milk you into buying credits by making it nearly impossible to afford cars. Also gone is winning cars for completing events.
The games fun but i'd rather of just had a higher resolution forza 4 with more cars.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.6Apr 25, 2014A super solid dungeon crawler that might not be for everyone but for those who it do appeal to its fantastic.
First let me start out byA super solid dungeon crawler that might not be for everyone but for those who it do appeal to its fantastic.
First let me start out by saying the music is simply fantastic in this game. With multiple dungeon and battle themes you wont be getting bored of the music selection at all. Its all so very catch and got that nice Jpop feel. Also all the characters have their own theme music.
Presentation is top notch. The art style and cutscene are of the highest product quality you'd expect from a anime style game.
The gameplay: Its grind heavy. Most of all the fun comes from creating star children. To do this you build your social links like you would do in persona. With higher social bonds you get the abilities to "classmate" which allows you to make children. The children are pretty much minoins. Think of them like your own persona pokemon. Leveling up finding new skills and getting the ultimate ones is just to much fun. Plus theres ton leveling up too.
The only issue people are having with this game realistically is the crude humor. It is very much your typical troppy anime game. Sexual content is high and for some that might offend. If you love your silly japanese high school animes like azumanga you're gonna just love this.… Expand
Average User Score: 5.1Nov 17, 2013Forget what the haters say, this ones here and its awesome!
Having played all the other DMC games I was at first not attracted to this gameForget what the haters say, this ones here and its awesome!
Having played all the other DMC games I was at first not attracted to this game because, like everyone else I didnt like the character style. However once I played the demo I was over it as I knew the gameplay was solid.
Graphics: These are the best the series has had to offer. Ninja Theory defiantly steps up their game and shows off some amazing visuals. The stages are not only the best i've seen in the series, they might be some of the coolest and best i've seen in a action game ever. Whats even more impressive is how great this game looks and its running on such an outdated game engine unreal 3 ).
Audio: The audio is kick ass. However this time is licensed music. Its all perfectly chosen and fit the game perfect. Its a blend of metal, rock and techno depending on the stage. Since its not just game music its actually stuff that you'd probably wanna just listening to for hearing pleasure too.
Gameplay: The game plays is awesome. Dante feels more like nero from part 4 in this one with his angelic and demonic grabs working just like neros arm grab. Imho this is fantastic as nero is my favorite DMC play style in the whole series. The game does suffer from some flaws however. Its vastly too easy. You're gonna just instantly wanna start on the hardest difficulty thats available from the start. Another thing it it seems impossible to cancel out of a move mid action.
Story: DMC has always had terrible stories. This one at least tries and it does much better than any previous entry. However its still nothing to write home about.
Over all this is the best DMC period. I really think people are missing out because they dont like Dantes new look and more "edgy" personality. Even though I honestly think his more edgy personality is more realistic than his over the stop shannagins of previous games.
If you're a fan of the genre its a must have! Go pick it up now.… Expand
Average User Score: 6.9May 17, 2012This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ok lets break down some fundamentals here first. The Sonic fanbase is crazy. Some of the biggest complaints from the "fans" are things like eye color and having to press a button to go to the next stage. They rant these things off as deal breakers.
Also when you see people giving a game scores of 0 or 1 you pretty much know there opinion is useless.
Sonic 4 Episode 2 is a huge vastly improved step up over the garbage that was episode 1.
The graphical engine has been redone to include high quality 3d rendering everywhere. The graphics are top notch for a DLC game and pretty polished in general. Absolutely nothing to complain about here.
Some people are complaining about the must however I think its great. Oil Desert act 2 and White Park Act 2 especially stand out. Whats also a nice tribute to fans is parts of most stage songs include a sample from a previously made Sonic game. Like metropolitian zone.
The gameplay is pretty tight. The physic are way better than the last game so don't listen those saying is isnt. Its not genesis physic but in no way does that hinder anything. The boss battles are probably some of the coolest since the genesis days. My complaint there isnt more of them :P The special stages are hard. Really hard. They're gonna beat you down on special stage 7 especially. The new tails comboing system adds a lot to boss battles and some new spike pits to over come.
You get to fight metal sonic a couple of times and most people will tell you this game has the best fights against metal sonic period. As voted by fans it out ranked Sonic CD and Sonic Generations in this aspect.
Really this is a game you shouldnt be missing out on. If you're a fan of sonic over all and not just 1-3&k give it a try. If you like the advance series then you'll totally enjoy this!… Expand
Average User Score: 3.5Mar 13, 2012Once again another Sony system has come out and that means its time for a new Ridge Racer. Now this game has been getting some really harshOnce again another Sony system has come out and that means its time for a new Ridge Racer. Now this game has been getting some really harsh reviews that are only some what fair.
The main grip is the content of the game. The game comes with a handful of cars(4 by default I believe) and 3 tracks. Now the thing is this is the Japanese version people are talking about. The us version instantly gives you 5 more cars, 3 more tracks and some extra songs. While not an over whelming amount of content it truely is enough. In Ridge Racer theres only 3 car handling types anyways so every car is just a reskin of those 3 cars.
Music: The music is awesome as usual. This is one of those you hate it or love it things. If you love Ridge Racer games you will love this. Its driving mostly technoish and viby music. Its all very fitting and it makes you wanna drive fast. Graphics: Its either this or Uncharted. Nothing else on the system looks even remotely impressive yet except these 2 games. Ridge Racer for psp was and still is one of the best looking titles ever released for psp. You and assume Ridge Racer for the vita will be pretty much the same. The interface is probably the sharpist and slickest i've seen in the series.
Gameplay: Its arcade style fun. If you liked part 6,7 or, the 3ds one there is absolutely no way you wouldnt enjoy this. There is one oddity that sucks. You cant set the L and R buttons to be your shifting up and down for the manual transmision. Lastly I feel that the content should be mentioned. There is a **** ton. It may not be in tracks and car select its in races. Constant download missions appear that you can have which adds tons of value if you've got access to some wifi ( the 3g for gaming is a joke and the 3g model of the system should be shunned ). This also features one of the most solid online vs modes that RR series has seen out of part 6 on 360.
Fans freet not if you loved RR this is worthy purchase and for $30 you'll defanitly get your value out of it.… Expand
