However the massive hype Second Son received convinced me to buy it; and it was worth every penny.
This game excels in almost every way: great combat, stunning visuals, diverse and original powers, and truly interesting characters. There are small flaws in this game, such as not being to interact with the world around you much. However that is a flaw many open-world games have and it is not big enough of a problem to detract you from the overall enjoyment of the game.
This flagship title is a prime example of what to expect from this console in the future, all PS4 owners should own this game.… Expand

With a story that is full of fluid and brutal combat, intense cut scenes and brilliant visuals you will feel almost as out of breath as Lara is by the end of the story.
However, having no prior knowledge or experience with the previous games of the franchise i had no idea of the supernatural elements this game had, taking me completely by suprise i am not sure how i feel about it. I came into this game expecting a (somewhat) realistic adventure, but i can't argue with the source material can i? Despite a few frame rate issues this game ran smoothly on my PS4, i recommend this game to any and all PS4 owners.… Expand

Unfortunately, a disappointing storyline and two-dimensional characters make this one of the weakest additions to the AC franchise, story-wise. Like the other games in the series, the story is set both in the Animus and out of it. While outside of the Animus, you will see some familiar faces however their appearance is short and unimportant to the overall story, their inclusion in the game feels forced as if to make a connection between this game and the events at the climax of Assassin's Creed III.
Despite the lacklustre story, there is still a lot of fun to be had with this game. The naval combat from ACIII is back and improved upon in many ways, the "Jackdaw", Kenway's ship. Is fully upgradable, from the power of the cannons to the strength of the hull. You can also customize your ship aesthetically, by changing the colour of the sails and the figurehead on the front of The Jackdaw. The customization is limited but it is still enjoyable. Despite being disappointing in certain areas, as a whole it is still an enjoyable game.… Expand

My favourite addition to the series is "Super Training", which is a in-depth way to train your team, the player can choose which specific skill they want to improve on their Pokémon through petting, feeding and playing (repetitive) mini-games with the select Pokémon the player wishes to train.
The addition of Super Training and other mini-games promotes a much more personal feel to training your Pokémon, bringing the player closer to being a real "Pokémon Trainer". It is through these feelings Game Freak evokes in us that you can see Pokémon X and Y are the best Pokémon games to date.… Expand
