When I describe the game to my friends, I usually say "it's like squad-based Skyrim" because it would take hours to describe all the different areas that this game excels in. The exciting combat, addicting RPG elements, and the incredibly awesome pawn system are some of my favorite things about Dragon's Dogma.
It's important to note that while the original release of Dragon's Dogma had some moderately irritating flaws; most notably the high cost of Liftstones, which were required to use the fast travel system. These flaws are fixed in the Dark Arisen version of the game, however.
The only remaining criticism I have of the game has to do with the story. I thought the ending of the main game was wonderfully unexpected, and the final boss battle leading up to the ending was pretty great too. But until the ending, the plot of Dragon's Dogma doesn't do much to keep the player interested. Many of the characters are flat and boring, and the main story is a bit generic up until the final boss battle. I will say this though: the voice actor for the Dragon did an amazing job, and I would really like to see him return in Dragon's Dogma 2, or whatever they end up calling it.
Buy this game, it's amazing. Also, feel free to add me on Xbox Live if you want to use my pawn. He's a healer mage named Christ, and he's badass.… Expand

I am enjoying it a lot more than Doom 3 though, even if I'm not really sure what I like better yet. I did really like the fact that Quake 4 continues the story of Quake II. And speaking of Quake II, that game is included with Quake 4 on a bonus disc, so that's just awesome. Buy this game if you like sci-fi shooters with old-school gameplay.… Expand

The multiplayer maps are varied and unique, and the same can be said for the guns. While the MP40 holds an advantage over the other guns because it is the easiest to use effectively, a skilled player can do well using almost any weapon they like. World at War is currently the only Call of Duty game with a co-op campaign, which makes the already exciting missions even more enjoyable if you play them with a friend. Zombies is also fun, although it is a little simpler in World at War than in Black Ops. If you like Call of Duty but feel like the recent installments have grown stale, try World at War. It's the most unique, and also one of the very best (if not THE best).… Expand

Halo 4's multiplayer is the best that the series has ever offered, with exciting matchmaking and the ability to customize your loadouts to suit your play style. The campaign has an excellent story, fleshing out the relationship between Master Chief and Cortana more than ever before. My only real criticisms of Halo 4 are that the campaign doesn't provide a very wide variety of objectives, and I still prefer Firefight to Spartan Ops. But otherwise the game is fantastic, and well worth the money for both new and old Halo fans.… Expand
