Is it perfect, not a chance, is it fun and consuming, completely! Here is a great way to justify your purchase. If you are looking for a totally polished triple A zombie destroying fast paced apocalypse style game, turn away. SODYOSE is great at what it does, and for the price, it's a very good option to choose when you want to consume a large portion of your life into finding survival gear, building shelters and forts, improving your communities strengths and weaknesses in fighting, medical, and more. Current owners of the original can purchase this title for less than the cost of the 2 DLC's realeased on 360 ($21) which I never played, so for me, it's a win win! It comes off as more of a real life sim (though zombies and this situation would never be real life) by improving characters survivability skills the more you use them in different situations. Ultimately you must constantly switch between characters due to fatigue and possible infections. Fatigue can often be controlled by increasing your stamina skill, or when it begins to drop a bit, drink an energy drink.
Searching for resources is very rewarding, and you don't always want to engage the zombies due to weapon frailty. Weapons are fun to collect and most characters will have specific strengths like blunts, (not the kind you smoke) sharps, and firearms. Instant kills with stealth are very gratifying and a good way to avoid the hordes. I only played this for about 4 hours the night it came out, but considering my experience with the original and based off what i experienced, this will for sure be money well spent, and a lot of missed hours of sleep at night. The one thing this game is missing and would benefit greatly from is online co-op. Sad they did not include it, but it is still a killer single player game. Graphically, it is an arcade title, but a good one at that. There are still the occasional "through the wall" limbs you can see, and minor glitches, but nothing game changing. I highly recommend this title and hope people can see the good in what games are trying to do rather than looking for mistakes and problems, trust me, games are more enjoyable that way.… Expand

First off, as said in other reviews, DO NOT look at this as a Zelda title, it is a Zelda inspired "Warriors" game. For those idiots scoring this game a 0, I don't think you understand what that means. Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi, all these games are the same game with different scenarios and characters... this is another version, and it is DEFINITELY NOT a bad thing!
The series is all about one thing, HACK AND SLASH! I thoroughly enjoy attempting to clear the entire board if possible, leveling characters to utterly destroy everyone, creating powerful weapons, and going MUSU on people's ass! I have played most of the dynasty warriors series in all generations, and know what I am getting out of the game, and that's why I buy them. Recently purchased Dynasty Warriors 8 Complete Edition on PS4, great game! Same game as others, with multiple tweaks...kind of like call of duty has been the same game since Modern Warfare with different weapons and a few tweaks, SAME CONCEPT!
The game play is fun, fast, and chaotic like you would expect from a "warriors" series. As a Zelda fan, I look forward to playing as Gannon, Zelda, Ipa, and many others. This game does one thing better than the others... BOSS CHARACTERS! Finding fairy caves to help out and attacking giant bosses is something the Dynasty Warriors series does not have. Also, to be able to play on the Gamepad, and have a friend play on the T.V. in the same "arena", makes it a blast! Great Co-Op. Also I just wanted to play as Link with the Master Sword originally, but all the different weapons and styles and characters really diversify the experience! Absolutely enjoy this thoroughly!
So if you see the case with Link on the cover and go, Oh a new Zelda game, I expect you to dislike this. If you are a gamer, you have probably been anticipating this and understand what you are getting when you purchase this. Enjoy a new experience and wonderful collaboration of one of my favorite childhood games, and the mindless button mashing heck-tic beat down style of the Warriors series!… Expand

Right off the batIf you are a fan of prior EDF 2017, or even Insect Armageddon, you will be more than excited and pleased with this title!
Right off the bat EDF 2025 remains true as a sequal to 2017, with a familiar feel, sound, and look (other than way better graphics and smoothness). Classic fans will appreciate the Ranger class as being "the original" character, but the new classes have some really cool perks and completely different play styles also. With 25+ levels (not including constant DLC) 5x as many weapons, individual class leveling, weapon leveling, and 5 difficulty settings, there is near endless replayability! New 4 player co-op lets you play with your friends, and set weapon/armor limitations so you aren't getting blown out of the water if your friends are 20+levels higher than you. Everything you would expect and want in an EDF title is here. The only minor issue I can tell at this time is the occasional frame rate slowing from howitzer strikes and huge explosions, but its completely acceptable since those are not all the time, and EDF is supposed to be like that "cheezy B-rated action movie" kinda game.
So it all boils down to this, if you're and EDF fan and know what to expect, or want a ridiculous fun co-op game for you and your crew, buy this game. If you are looking for the next genre-defying game, stick with something familiar.… Expand

There is enough leveling up rewards to keep you wanting to play, and all the bikes have a different feel and look. You learn new tricks that are more difficult to pulloff and some are off-the-wall crazy air style like PURE where you tie them together and make your own combinations for bonus rewards. The game tracks your stats so that your friends who have it can see who is better where and try to beat your scores and times. There are multiple games styles from standard races to trick tracks, and I very much enjoy the adventure mode. This mode is not timed and is just a large open area where you have to try and collect all the skulls and coins that are either hidden, or extremely difficult to get to. I am looking forward to leveling my bikes all the way and taking them online to show off my skills against live players and my friends. If you like motocross games, or just racers at that, this game is a sure win! Only complaints are the visuals being a little basic, but it's an arcade title and its great for what it is, and the amount of area's to compete, but there is always the possiblility of downloadable content.… Expand

For many that areAlthough there are many issues right out of the gate, lets not forget what Trion has accomplished in this Original title. For many that are unaware of the complications of MMO's, there will be negative feedback at first, but World of Warcraft and Guild Wars and such were not created overnight. Games like this require patching to find and eliminate bugs that occur through trial and error, and thats what is happening now. If you believe a game should run perfectly smooth with thousands of players on one map, and multiplayer games that average 64 vs 64 or larger, than this game is not for you. Defiance is a project that I believe can only get better over time. The story is good enough to make you wonder what comes next, as tied in with the television series on Scifi, the story will be evolving accordingly and continue to be updated in seasons. There are enough time trials and battelgrounds to keep you and many of your closest friends playing together for a long time.
Weapons building and costumizing is very addicting. Guns have levels of rarity which make them better as in all MMO's. Then you find that purple extra rare weapon, then you can add things of similar rarity in parts, like scopes, clips, barrels and stocks, making your weapon original to your play style and desires. Occasionally you can find a part that changes the elemental powers, like bio, chemical, electric, and disruption to name a few, making the combinations endless. Through leveling, your character develops different abilitys, like cloak and decoy. For a small price, your "talent" tree can be changed at any point in the game, which is crutial if you don't enjoy your original choice.
I find the combat system to be solid when the game is running clean. You are rewarded for headshots and critical hits. Players familiar with MMO's understand bosses are not 1 vs 1 friendly, which is fine because when you choose a mission and get to the site, there are usually friendly players already working on the bosses, and believe me, they are greatful to see you.
Finally to pick on Defiance a little bit, the driving mechanics do feel a bit blocky, along with the issue of a small back pack, which consistanly forces you to break down or sell items you will not use. There is currently no storage bank or auction house to seel items to other players in need, which is very helpful when you are looking for a specific item. Lastly, when you join in an Arkfall battle, which is extremely fun, many players look like a default character which is due to the amount of characters on screen i'm sure, but also sure that this issue will be fixed shorty.
Defiance is not perfect, but its original for consoles, and a great start of something I can see building up very strong. Give this game a chance with an open mind, and don't expect a Call of Duty pace, and you will enjoy this title. No game deserves a true zero rating, so hate all you want, and realize some games have put out a near exact copy of itself with minor tweaks for many years, and getting rave reviews. Keep that in mind.… Expand
