I will goI gave this game 10 NOT to offset all the zero votes. I gave it 10 because I honestly think this is the best RPG I have ever played. I will go into details below.
I play on everything maxed up and graphics range from amazing to very good, strangely, some environments are much better then others. Animations are fluid and good, except can appear a bit rigid during cutscenes. Overall, in most places graphics are breathtaking, and in a great open world - it is just epic.
In fact, this is the main aspect of any game for me. Gameplay, graphics, music - yes they are all important but the thing that keeps pushing me to play is the story. Now here, it does not disappoint - as expected from Bioware, It starts a little full on and abrupt, but quickly engages you into it, pushes you to make decisions and really invest in whats going on. Beginning lacks any cutscenes, and it is great as you make your own cutscenes through playing! Story and setting are really well crafted Yes, it lacks deep moral dillemas of Witcher 2, but here you have four races to choose from and three classes too! And these decisions affect not only the gameplay, but story, NPC reactions and your progression. Story quickly develops and really opens up the more you play. Everything has its reasons, and it all feels epic and the scope is epic too - think LoTR. You never find yourself thinking, 'Whats a point of this?' or 'What am I supposed to do next?'. I dont want to spoil the story for you but trust me, its epic! And you characters, where do I even start? You can chat with them after every mission. they always have something to say or comment on what you have been doing, they chat during the adventures and seem to have an opinion on everything. You can make friends and enemies here , so be careful. Also, unlike previous games and Mass Effect series, here if you play as a mage, you feel as a mage! Or a rogue, or a templar! And people see you like you are.
Now this is important in the game, right? Right. PC controls are a bit tricky and hard to get used to, however, after tweaking them a bit - make A and D buttins do strafe as in action game, and move the view with your mouse buttons(also swap left and right buttons, makes way more sense and can be done in options), you can then play similar to how you would in say, Witcher 2. When you start the game, it looks easy and not complex at all. However, as you level up you find some things the game does different from others: you dont have to 'waste' skill points just to get to some abilities you would actually use, here every ability is useful from the start, and you feel good using them. But what really surprised me, every ability or spell has its own place until the very end! They dont replace each other as in other games, and I love it for that! Say, lighting bolt does moderate damage to one enemy, and paralyses him, preventing from attacks or casting spells, mid animation if you can time it right! But Immolate, in fire school, panicks enemies instead, and other fire spell you get, does heavy AoE damage but lack crowd control effect. Its highly tactical, and every active ability also has an upgrade.. What is more, passives here are not just stat boosts - how about surrounding yourself with electrical energy while casting spells?
On top of that, you also have cross class combos! Hitting paralysed enemy with melee ability results in arcs of energy stunning everyone! Then, enemies have resistances and weaknesses you can see in tactical camera( which is btw really useful in difficult battles). Guess what? You also have specializations, 3 per class, but to do them you have to complete a quest too, and then reactions of everyone around you changes according to your spec! (hint, people hate necromancers:) ) And there are also ultimate 'focus' abilities too! And did I mention it has crafting? Weapon and armor mods? Selection of mounts to ride? Your keep customization? Potion making? And many, many side quests to do? And quests only involving the dialogue and your wits? But what about whole inquisition stuff?! You have a large map to plan your next move, you send your advisors to deal with threats(think who you send), you gain 'influence' and 'power' and then use it to move plot forward. You also gain strategic 'perks', you can choose what you like - open up new dialogue options relating to arcane knowledge or let you rogues open locked chests? Its amazing what can you do here, and the game continues to amaze you as you play, opening up more and more options for you! Lore is very deep, and music is astounding! (there are songs, too, a-la Hobbit movie).
I can just continue going on and on how this is the best game ever made, and how even for people who never got into other Dragon Age games this is a must play, but word limit. Just buy the game, you will not regret. Now go, Inquisitor, and bring light!(or be an **** you choose)… Expand

This game isThe score is 9.5 - rounded to 10. This is a masterpiece of a game - and thats coming from a guy who haates recent GTA iterations. This game is so varied and full of content its incredible:
1. Variety of cars, motorcycles and boats to drive around causing havoc or just enjoying the speed, and just travelling of course.
2. Trains - i love trains, you can ride in them, ride on them, hack them and blend with passengers in them.
3. Hacking - everything - from bridges to car alarms to grenades to steam pipes to police helicopters to cameras...awesome stuff, and easy to do on the go.
4. Firefights - gunning baddies, not necessarily fatally - shooting knees neutralizes them, for peaceful amongst us. You can avoid most of the combat through smart stealth. Cover system is solid.
6, Minigames - lots of them, and fun ones!
7. Narrative and voice acting
8. The best multiplayer I have ever played - you have to see it to believe it, pairing people in different scenarious, even with players on mobile phones with a special app!
I can't say enough good things about that game - there are negatives too.
Main character is too .... two sided. Game is not sure whether it wants him to be good protector of innocent or just an **** murdering people for no reason. His character is a bit flat too, graphics is a bit average(google the worse mod - makes the game look 10 times better and stutter less), and some missions are bit repetitive.

It has unique setting, engaging narrative and passionate voice acting. It is a solid RPG with melee fighting system. However the game does not reach higher than 7 for me for a number of reasons - repeating environments(ala Dragon Age 2), limited ranged weapons(1 in total), skill trees not balanced and not well designed, too much unnecessary animations - like opening doors(although they can be skipped), too much running back and forth in linear environment. But, dialogues and decision making is there and this is what makes a good rpg. Worth the money spent, just wish it had a bigger budget.… Expand

This is anOk, this game is pretty unique, I give it that. If you are looking for an action or an rpg look somewhere else, obviously. This is an adventure game where you go from place to place, look for clues, think and select relevant clues to the crime scene and has occasional stealth. It is a relaxing experience for anybody, with some spooky elements and interesting story and mechanics. Beware, it is a console port with some bad decisions -like no manual saves and if you select by accident 'do not save the game' on the start - it will not be saved at all, I thought that option applied only to an initial save. In fact the game has only one save slot. Some mechanics are too scripted, like poltergeist - allowing you to influence technology, it is only spooking people when you are TOLD to use it. There some bugs and visual glitches, some puzzles are too easy. This features make the game worth about 7, but to me, due to the uniqueness and some strange appeal it is an 8. It is a special game, so beware you may end up hating it, but if if touches the right chord in you - you will love it.… Expand

This game is a solidI decided not to inflate the scores for games to compensate for lower scores. I just give them what I thibi they worth. This game is a solid 9. Dont underestimate it - it is a quality game, you could even mistake it for bioware game. Seriously.
See, you are a mercenary, hired to protect the group of mages performing a ritual, in the world being slowly consumed by the undead. Enjoy fully voiced dialogues and characters of each npc, member of your company and your hero. See, as a mercenary, you talk like one, behave like one and fight like one! You feel like a "sellblade" in this game. You feel right in the game from the moment you start playing. You can alsonplay as a female, and this adds another layer to your interaction with other characters.
Fights are glorious - you choose your stance, either tactical, powerful and on the slow side warrior - with two handed swords and axes, crushimg shields and interrupting attacks, or fast jumping in and out with crazy fast dagger attacks - choose what you like most! I advise playing the game at least twice to try these both distinct styles of play. You cN also augment your attacks with Pyromancy - think flaming weapons, fireballs and even summoning the fire spirit. Graphics are beautiful, brave devs even nailed the jungles - hardest environment to do in such games due to all the rendering on leaves and grass.
So, if you are looking for an RPG game, driven by a strong narrative, with the fast reactive combat, crafting and loads of weapons - look no further. This game builds on the foundation laid by Spiders previous RPG - Mars: War Logs(decent game, but overshadowed by this one). Great effort. 9/10.… Expand

Neocore has managed to improve on many aspects on the game, without changing too much. Honestly, I like ARpg games although I like to play them and not grind them! I like the good story and charachets that feel alive. The game is well done, although it feels more like expansion then a second part. Story is better this time around, its more logical with better character evolution. Gameplay is much better, three classes(actually four, as the hunter class has two completely different trees) push you to level up all of them ae they are so distinct - warrior specializes in melee combat with either in and out skirmish attacks or tanking the mobs, Hunter rolls with guns and burst damage, Thaumaturge either controls the battlefield and mobs with various spells, or destroys them with wallw of fire, ice and wild energy. This class has lots of drawing, holding and fast clicking skills. The last class is the Arcane Mechanic - he uses various gadgets and can summon awesome mechanical spiders to fight for them - this changes the gameplay completely.
Environments are different, and some of them are so beautiful and atmospheric with nice weather effects.
Enemies range from forest creatures, to lots of mechanical and steampunk mutants and to even few undeads. Game could use more undeads actually but they probably saving it for next part. I loved the minigames - one is tower defense(totally skippable if you prefer that), and second is a resistance management game where you decide who to send on which mission. Your chimera pet also gives you choice - do you take it with you as a helper or send it on the hunts for some special items?
Loot - there is plenty of it! Swords, axes, pistols and staves, and some more. Skills are flashy and impactful, although some of them feel not logical(I know its an ARpg) and not balanced.
So few things for me detract from 9 or 10 - the game coukd be longer, choices could have more impact, Ui could be cleaner, more enemy types, more rounded story without such obvious sequal bait and better villain.
So there you have it, bargain for the price - 8 out of 10 for me.

Capmaign is interesting and its great to visit places from the movie. Weapons feel awesome, squadmates shoot and even sometimes kill, and aliens behave like they should crawlng evrywhere, evading attacks and close distances very quickly. Compared to AVP 2010 its a good game. Much mor dynamic and fast and responsive, great atmosphere too.
It feels to me that most people here give over-inflated negative reviews for some reason, well I decided to do an honest one. So to me the game is 9 and I have barely touched the multiplayer yet.(and its fun!)
