The campaign had a good intent, but it did not go far in depth, and was somewhat monotonous. Road to WrestleMania in WWE '12 went smooth, which was uninteresting. Instead, the developers should have branched out and created alternate storylines based on the player's decisions, and not predetermined outcomes. However, I have to praise the direction the story took, with a fictional, but legendary ending.
It is worth pointing out that I have had difficulty using the User Playlist feature for my custom Superstar, which was disappointing, because I love "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons. I do not know whether it was the consoles fault or the developers, but it was disappointing. As a result, I cannot include this with my overall rating of this game. Even with a bland campaign, I have to say that the developers had done a good job.… Expand

In the game, the player follows the story of Niko Bellic, an Eastern European hellbent on vengeance against someone who had betrayed his military unit in the past. The campaign of the game is perhaps the darkest of any other story of the Grand Theft Auto video game series, which is well received.
Grand Theft Auto IV even follows it up with a sad ending, no matter the decision that the player makes. The developers decided that one of Niko's closest friends must die, depending on the player's choice. At a number of points in time, the player is given a choice, which would have a bad result or would be beneficial. Then, there are points where you literally do not have a choice, but to kill that certain someone.
However, there are some features that must be brought to attention. Even with exceptional graphics, the feeling of Liberty City is gloomy and grayish. Now, I do not know if that is what it looks like in New York City, but it is something worth noting. Another point is that the map is just too small, which is a reason why the player cannot pilot planes. Why not include more of the outlying areas of the states of New Jersey and New York, and not just the urban and suburban landscape? More of Long Island?
For this game, there are additional negative aspects. Grand Theft Auto IV is lacking provided in-game car modification, which is noticeably absent from the game. Instead, Pay 'n' Spray restores the player's vehicle and give it a random color. Now, weapon modification has never been a feature in the video game series, but I think the series is in order for an addition such as that.
Besides those negative features, Grand Theft Auto IV is a great game overall.… Expand

The heists featured inThe story is the best yet. I went back to play each of the endings, where one is great, while the others are saddening. The heists featured in this game have been smartly written by the developers and they have extensively researched Los Angeles and its outlying areas to create the largest map yet. To add a little to the story, the developers brought back some characters from the Grand Theft Auto IV era, some of who, die.
However, there are some features that must be brought to attention. During the campaign, I felt that there were not that many missions given to Trevor Philips, which is somewhat disappointing. After having 100% completion, there is nothing much left to do. It would not hurt to have some exciting armed robberies even after completing the game, and not just hanging out with the other protagonists.
Otherwise, the game is very exceptional. It takes us away from the gloomy and grayish Liberty City to a bright and beautiful Los Santos and its countryside. A message to those who want to purchase this game: it is definitely worth sacrificing eight gigabytes to play this game. I have never played a more compelling game since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The stories that the player is brought into is what made this video game series successful.… Expand

The new Match Creator is awesome; you can create your own match. However, if you wanted to have a Six-Man Steel Cage match, it can't happen. Instead, it will be a Battle Royal by default. This game has awesome improvements. There is a new WWE Universe mode, where you can wrestle on each show and pay-per-view, but what I hate about is that I want to have awesome action, but in the end, either a team will end or someone will turn heel or face (maybe some people want to make the rivalries and teams like it is today). Though, one thing that THQ needs to work on, is the AI. In an inter-gender match (woman as manager), the male AI wrestling may take his eyes off of the opponent and turn to the female manager, and attack her, resulting in a DQ (Iron Man in Match Creator). This game is great, but a player's experience is less than half of what an Xbox 360 and PS3 player would experience. There is no internet gameplay, Xbox 360 and PS3 players can throw chairs, lean ladders, etc. and Wii players can't. It's irritating when one or two people are on a ladder in a Money In A Bank match and it zooms out to where you can barely see anything.… Expand
