It's like you saved and quit the game on floor 15, but next time you run the game again it spawn you back in floor 10, because that's where the nearest "TRAVEL savegame point" is! So you need to fight all the way from floor 10 to floor 15 again as all the AI bots will be spawn back into place as you travel and triggered those triggers to make AI enemy bots to spawn again. Interval savegame points are for use after you got killed and gets reconstructed (respawn) with a fee.
So the reall sh1ts happens around XP level 13 to 15, where the mission are long and the maps has only rare "TRAVEL savegame point", that end up the player must not turn off the PC for 4 hours straight or else he will need to travel from "floor 10 to floor 15 all over again" after save and quit game! Now what on earth does world health organization saide you can play PC game 4 hours all in a role without taking a break!
This is like DEADSPACE, STALKER, TOMB RAIDER, etc ... put in one game! At rare times of the game you need to think where the hell the next waypoint is, or where to go to find it, this is not just shoot and roam, and maps and buildings can go maze like!

After playing this game, I would try to play the game STALKER again and see if I can understand how it's sub missions works, how to pick them up and follow the briefing details.
This one is good for a sniper fun, as one can't hold breathe and keep the crosshair dead still for a second or second. If you're a rapist on headshot (sniper funs), PLZ go pick up other games like Sniper Elite V2, Sniper Elite 3 and Far Cry 4 ...
I almost stopped playing this crap after finding the cartoon childish like theme and the STALKER game alike sub mission interfaces that's rather confusing at first. Oh, remember to zoom out on the map view and need to move the map around to find the 'out of zone' waypoint(s), and the waypoint is not telling you if it's above or below the elevation you're in.
Trigger happy on using handguns and sniper rifles, nothing more than that! Pretty good for headshot-rapists!… Expand

Shift 2 has used too much CPU processing powers on steering assist or what ever other kind of assists that has been added new to this release. I think it also makes the game more buggy and unstable due to that. Really hope it can release a patch to allow user to lower the steering assist to LOW than either on or off.
Sometimes the car did turn like it's on a pole in the center. Some car models "auto" spin-turn on a tight U turn like it has you blindfolded for a second, then next thing you know you have already "crossed the river" and you don't know what has just happened!

After doing a S bend with handbrakes, next coming up to a bridge on all straight race track. Need to slow within a speed limit if you're speeding on the far right side of the race track right before the bridge, or else there is no way you can steer the car at all (even when the car is not off the race track).
It's almost very hard to steer the car around a bend after it has done 0 to 130kph from a stand still, so it's about traction control and how much the tyres has burnt up from accelerations and brakings. Road surface to tyre simulation is pretty strange when compared to other games.
I'd rather play this game than Dirt. I usually use behind car views to play, but not with this game. The right behind wheel view is amazing on this one! Feel so realistic like never before!
It's like taking small parts from other games such Flatout, GTR, Racedrivers, Evolution GT, and GRID and throw them all into a new recipe. But somehow sometimes I feel like there is FADE at work ... FADE as the copy-protection at work (due to crazy AI behaviours and car handlings changed all of a sudden for a few seconds). So I needed use basic instincts as to know when the ghosty FADE will pop up on the race track!… Expand

The quickiest way to get a bullet out of your own arm is to shoot at the meat hole again with a handgun[x] No prone, lean left or right. The quickiest way to get a bullet out of your own arm is to shoot at the meat hole again with a handgun since this game is all (gamespot) loony-arcade any way. The sniper rifle is all arcade, you don't want to compare this to other games like STALKER and Crysis. It has something new like changing the time of the day to play (setting the clock to sleep).
[x] New: burning bushes keep spreading bigger through the wild grass areas preventing bots getting closer to you (too bad it didn't burn down the whole forrest).
[x] New: obscene surgical wound fixing scenes, too bad they didn't reload your human arm like a double barrel shotgun snap it (human arm) open and loading 2 short chunk of bones (buckshot/shells) into 2 hollow meat holes in the angle-opened human arm (Manga animations).
[x] Buggy iron sight: Can't shoot at a target when the iron sight is not blocked by a tree, so player has to stand up from crouching before he can shoot at the bot.
[x] This is modern day Quake 3 Arena or UT. Half of this game is arcade.
[x] As for the guard posts (check points), you can drive off-road to skip past most of them, that needs expert off-road racing skills, reading the map like crazy as you speed past tightly between trees and rocks. Most players didn't like this game due to the need of advanced PC gamer skills. Bots has the ability of tracking your trails, they will find your hiding place if you don't get inside a vehicle and speed off.
[x] Very few bots just repawn and went dumb in place and has no ineraction/repsonse to the present of the player, just went straight up to his face and tuck a grenade in his mouth!
[x] You got shot: To view the health level, press the reload key for your gun. As the health bar are auto-hid once nothing happens. Pressing the reload ammo key bring up the HUD for ammo counts and health level.
I think there are 8 smaller bars in the health bar. If a burst of shots hitted you and it only cost 1 bar, but it removed 2 bars in the health bar before it “regen” 1 bar back so it has 6 bars left at first, then back to 7 bars as long as you takes cover and avoid getting shot. In another word, actual damage is 10%, but it take away 20% right away, then soon “refund” the 10% overcharged!
Some shots only graves your skins, those shots are usually far distanced shots (near misses), your health bar dropped a little bit before it recharge back to the fullest as long as you takes cover & avoid getting hit more.… Expand

The chopper flying simulation is far realistic than the GTA:SA, but the nose and guns of the AH-1Z Super Cobra can nose-dived onto the ground without exploding, that was after I've performed an stunt of dolphin spin-dive from an altitude of 60 (press and hold the keys of W, D and X altogether); Like a tree the Super Cobra when erected in the ground, it's blades still spinning for a while before it fell like a plank of wood, but back on it's legs without exploding. Bots can see through the concrete floors and shot player dead when he's standing or laying on the roof top (shots gone right through the very thick floor!). Bots can prone-through the walls on the steps of the second floor (no-clipping). They've putted too much worked into the part where simulations are, hence few bugs. If you stand in a doorway and tried to lean to one side and take a peek, some angle of views are very limited as you can't see the same way as you did with leaning to the other side, it made it feel cheap like it's was a game back in 1995. The sun-lighting effects are too much, the gamma and brightness level keep changing by the different directions you're facing to the sun. The handling of flying machines in this game beats BF2, but the aiming recticle are not very popular among nowaday games. This is not as much fun as BF2, but some might like it for being slower than BF2 and being different to most FPS games.… Expand
