After a film like "Frozen", which has virtually split audiences and critics (I am among those who have worshiped), maybe Disney will be able to put all of them agree with this great animated film based on a Marvel comic (unknown, perhaps, even the most avid readers).
"Big Hero 6" has all the ingredients that a good animated film should have, even the most trivial, from the typical disney comedy, the good feelings, but also a hidden ingredient, which can be enjoyed with the death of brother Hiro, not that death was never present in the Disney movie, as someone said, in my opinion, wrong (I could mention "Bambi," "The Lion King" and the underrated "Brother Bear"), but surely has never been so close to us, considering that the films I mentioned have starring animals.
Among other things, I found very interesting all the joint narrative following the death of Tadashi, with its dense network of intricate mysteries, including characterization of Hiro, who has been criticized for being too thin and empty, but that I think is in this dimension of empty his strong point. Sorry but I want it to be characterized as a poor boy who has lost everything?
Also good characterization of the secondary characters, from tender Baymax, who with his ingenuity by robots will reflect the same Hiro on the choices of his life, Hiro's nerd friends, which will help to catch the man with the mask which kabuki stole his microbot, the amiable aunt Cass.
Too bad for the fall style with the ultimate sacrifice of Baymax (for charity, definitely exciting and intense, but foregone) and the unveiling of 'identity of the man with the mask, under which lurked prof. Callaghan.
Although this choice is not entirely wrong, because they actually are the clues that gives the film to assume that there is him under the mask, but it is the reason why steals microbot and becomes a sort of super villain (I must admit, very well developed aesthetically) that fails to fully convince.
Probably, without these defects that, in spite of myself, I could not stand up, I would have considered "Big Hero 6" a masterpiece in every respect.
For the rest of the fun is guaranteed, the rhythm flows perfectly and the characters will entertain you but also warm your heart.… Expand

This time, however , Raimi wanted to include elements of the grotesque and comic , making the film a real B -movie.
All this, contrary to what you might think , is not a defect, it helps to make the film a true gem that entertains from the first minute . Let's be clear that the B-movie does not need to be in the film of low quality, there are geniuses like Sam Raimi, in fact, that in movies at the highest level as "The House 2" , manage to insert elements typical of these films, alzandone further the level. There is , therefore, no need to say that the film is one of the greatest cult cinema history , as well as a horror film that deserves the highest of the stars.
The dominance , however, of these elements wants the judgment of the film to be assigned considering it as a B -movie.… Expand

Sometimes, in fact, are produced movie brilliant and interesting (an example would be "The Blair Witch Project"), sometimes authentic cinematic abortions as the aforementioned "The bay". Eighty endless minutes of events that happen at random, without a logical thread, but especially with such a mess that makes you a headache.
Obviously, the film critic has expressed a positive opinion on the movie, because you know that it is no longer the actual product to be judged but the high-sounding name of the artist who produces it, but you do not need to be critical to understand that "The Bay" is probably one of the worst films in the history of cinema.… Expand

At the technical level is almost perfect . The direction , although it was entrusted to a novice , it is discreet and overflowing with good ideas , the photograph appears almost bloody , and the script manages to convince thanks to its simplicity and the desire to not take itself too seriously . Flaw , however, in the staging that can not be grim and dark like the original, this also because of the little picturesque scenery . It must be said , too, that despite the past thirty years from the original, this remake fails minimally to strike the same terror , and especially to recreate that dark feature of the whole trilogy, Raimi , who took part in the production and implementation of the remake with Bruce Campbell. Surely the touch of Raimi it can be seen in the fabulous splatter scenes , but the staging is definitely not the result of his creativity.
In conclusion, surely "The House " by Fede Alvarez taken as a single film can only be a good product, but it absolutely does not stand comparison with the 1981 original , directed by a director but not a genius ....… Expand

The film" Ichi The Killer" is a real pulp made in Japan , which took , however, the element of violence and has an extreme beyond belief . The film , in fact, not only shows rapes and gruesome scenes of sadism , but also of extreme masochism. These scenes are a real film heritage , both for their originality in the field of horror , but especially for the skill with which they are filmed.
Excellent editing, deliberately confusing and perfectly collimated to fresh and grotesque screenplay , and directed by Miike , which shows no particular technical virtuosity but really elegant .
As for the actors, while Nao Omori ( Ichi ) and Tadanobu Asano ( Kakihara ) interpreters are really excellent, the rest of the cast is not quite up .
Obviously, " Ichi The Killer" is not a film for all tastes , given its content highly controversial , so I strongly advise watching the impressionable . However, those who are fans of the genre should not miss this gem.… Expand

For Jumper I thought the same thing, but with a small big difference, is the whole movie to be poor! Aside from a few funny sequence say, this film is really bad! The basic idea could not have been handled worse than that!
I did not like anything about this movie, the actors are bad (samuel jackson is not served to bring up the level), the direction is bad, the picture is horrible, and the assembly sickening! In conclusion, a film to be avoided… Expand

Unfortunately, my impressions have not approached even a little ' earlier expectations .
Where is all this originality ? I have not seen it . Appearances paranormal , parallel worlds, mediums, haunted houses, demonic possession , etc. I do not seem so original elements for a modern film , rather they are among the most typical and raped for horror movies .
Sure, it's not fair to base the value of a movie considering only the original , but even if the script is working fine, flat and rather superficial defects such as these can only put more emphasis . To further strengthen the weakness of the film is the evidence actorial , which in part to Lin Shaye , I found unrealistic in their desire to be realistic .
Overall, then , the movie did not like it , but I recognize some merits in it, such as the discrete directed by James Wan , and several dark scenes . In my opinion there were all the elements to make a great horror film , but unfortunately have not been exploited to the fullest.… Expand

Take the Raimi Spider-Man , which I think best represent how it should be done a cinecomic , in those films there's always been a dramatic side and a funny side , but neither of them prevailed over the other, Raimi was able to keep them in perfect balance , making it believable ( as a film about a man spider to be credible ) most of the events !
In " Fantastic 4 " this balance there is absolutely , in fact, the film tends to give more benefit to the side comic caring about the psychology of the characters and their state of mind after having acquired powers . The consequence is a characterization of the characters to the limits of trivial !
Another weak point is the villain , anonymous and absolutely no bite , really badly written !
On the plus side we definitely special effects incredible , absolutely not at the level of the film, and the music , which surely would have had even more impact if the film had been conceived differently!
If you want to see a cinecomic studied well and with great directing and screenwriting , stay completely away from this mess !… Expand
