Average User Score: 6.4Jul 23, 2013I've been playing this game for quite some time now and I can say that while I enjoyed original DotA, this one is more polished and the gameplay is very smooth. The graphics are amazing too and the community has been quite helpful so far (even though some people say otherwise).
I totally recommend this game to any MOBA fan.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.4Nov 8, 2011Awesome graphics, gameplay and the game in overall is amazing. I rated this game as it would be in a perfect state... but it is not. I will tell you why. This game has so many issues after 3 weeks, so many game breaking issues that I fear to launch it. Getting disconnected randomly from EA and then this Origin crap that is literally a legal spyware in my computer. 3 weeks after launch and we still have not a client patch.
The singleplayer campaign was interesting and fun to play, but short and unfinished. Sure, it was a script fest, but since EA has deep in it's stomach that they want to beat CoD in sales, this could be expected.
As for multiplayer. Battlelog was a nice idea but the person that coded that thing deserves a slap. Random disconnects, launching campaign when pressed "Join Server" and these are only the bugs I have encountered. The gameplay itself is awesome. Flying in jets, helis, driving tanks and destroying everything that is around you is all perfect but again, the support for this game is so poor that I am slamming my head against the wall.
The game is perfect. Gameplay is awesome but the tech support that cannot solve anything and fans need to find temporary solutions are killing it. EA/DICE needs to wake up and release a patch sooner than predicted 25th November. If the issues (random crashing, disconnects) will be addressed and fixed and if the gameplay will be smooth and without rubber banding, then it will be a true BF2 sequel. So far. It is only a jam of bugs. Shame.… Expand
Average User Score: 8.4Sep 5, 2011I was worried. Truly I was. Original Deus Ex was a revolutionary game that have created a new genre. Non linear gameplay and your choices will truly show themselves later in game. I thought this cannot be better (especially with Invisible Wars debacle) but the guys from Canada have outdone themselves. While this game keeps the standards of original title it also ads a few more. Many may say that the graphics are outdated, but I have to say that this game has a style, a style that will take your breath once you are outside Sarif Industries in Detroit or in Shanghai. The gold style of this game is amusing. Since Deus Ex already had the "multiple paths" option, this game leads it to perfection. You can choose if you go unnoticed or go rambo stlye and kill everything that moves. Do not like talking? Ok then do not persuade people to let you in but shoot yourself through. This game offers so many options of gameplay that you might think at some point: what genre is this? To be precise, it is stealth-action-drama-fps-rpg with a lot of choices. This game is genre defining title and it is so immersive that you do not know how and the 25 to 30 hours you spent in the game are long gone. And yet you replay because the second walkthrough, with different choices is a different game :). GOTY Candidate baby!… Expand
Average User Score: 4.3Sep 5, 2011While I absolutely loved Dragon Age Origins, I had too big expectations for this game. TO me it does not feel like Origins where strikes were realistic and strategy was a must. Endless spawns of enemies and anime-like combat and weapons (bigger better!) are the things that kill the game. Graphics are cartoonish and I am ok with that. As for locations, you practically see 3 or 4 different ones, since all the dungeons are the same... just with different doors open. BUt the thing I absolutely dislike about this game is the dialogue wheel where it even shows you what kind of approach is that. Where are the multiple options where you had to think to not piss some people off? Guess most of today's games are made for fast selling and 12-14 year old public.… Expand
Average User Score: 8.8Jun 15, 2011I loved Portal... I really did. And I love Portal 2 even more! From cynical little english robot to GlaDOS made into a potato. Whoever invented the thing with the liquids should be prasied. I had fun and can say that the CO-OP is the ONLY real co-op in today's games. The need of thinking in team and solve puzzles is just awesome and practically really hard without a voice chat. I applaud Valve. 10.0 :D
p.s.: Do not mind that it is a bit overpriced! It is certainly worth the price :)… Expand
Average User Score: 8.5May 18, 2011Truly a candidate for the GOTY 2011. Awesomely written dialogues, breath taking visuals and music and also really good combat. The story itself is deep, immersive, mature and, personally, I love some of the Geralt's sarcastic jokes. The first Witcher was awesome and this one is even better. The only minus I would say is the problem with GFX drivers (needed 275 beta driver off nVidia in order to run the game... but nothing serious). As a Sapkowski fan I recommend this game to anyone who loves RPG genre.
After a big disappointment with Dragon Age 2, this game put DA:O of the RPG throne for me.… Expand
