I thought to myself, "How can anyone play a fast paced arena shooter like Nexuiz on CryEngine 3?" but then I bought it, and then I played it.
Nexuiz is fast paced, fun and addicting. Dedicated servers and mod support is missing which is the only problems I could find. The developers have told me they are working on releasing dedicated server support very soon, following that is mod support. Other things to like about the game are its mutator rotation gameplay. Jumping around when suddenly you're colorblind, or you have a jetpack, or you're randomly swapped with other player positions. It adds to the experience and disorients even the best of players. The music is pretty solid as well. All of this together gets a lovely 8/10. Once they provide dedicated server support, I'll gladly raise that to 9/10.… Expand

It's definietely something I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent challenge. It has some replayability in the campaign (trying to unlock all the achievements) but the actual replayablity comes from it's community made maps accessible and designed from in the game itself.… Expand

Average User Score: 5.7Mar 7, 2012This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The overall game was good up until the ending. Each of the ending, Shepard dies and the Mass Effect relays are destroyed. What really ruined it was half-way through the game on the Citadel someone asked that if the Mass Effect relays were destroyed if it would stop the Reaper attacks.
The ending was not original by any means. Your good ending is GREEN, the Reapers leave (but are not destroyed) because they had a change of heart. The bad ending is RED and literally, synthetic life is destroyed (Reapers, Geth, EDI, etc). The neutral/Illusive Man ending is BLUE and Shepard becomes the God of the Reapers, humans becoming the dominant race in the galaxy. I have decided at this point that I will never by another Bioware game. SWTOR was a letdown, so I unsubbed. Mass Effect 3 was watered down and unoriginal, so I am disappointed. Dragon Age 2 was disgusting and watered down, which disappointed me. Bioware went from telling amazing stories to just another EA company banking on a collective interest. Also, the Day 1 DLC was *essential* to the story and without it you're missing a huge chunk of information. $10 for content that should have been included with the game.
Bioware, this has already been done by the Deus Ex franchise. This is not original and I was very very disappointed.… Expand
