Alright im getting tired of people here.
The Valid complain they all have, is the games DLC plan. It is a pretty **** crap plan.
But you can't judge a game purely on the DLC. Though i think 50% of people here do. Yes the hunters and monsters are overpriced like crazy, but you don't need em to play the game. All future maps and game modes will be free.
Everyone keeps talking about thousands of microtransactions from day one. The only thing you can purchase and use right now, is **** skins. Wow, what downer huh. That will surely break the game for all of you, that someone has a skin you don't have.
Then i see some people down voting it, due to other peoples reviews. Get the **** out you little ****
I think one of the other problems this game has is that, you have to put some thought into what you do. And people nowadays just wanna press buttons and see their victory happen. They don't wanna work for their victory. The fact that people buy unlock packs for Assissins Creed and Battlefied, proves that beyond a doubt. They don't wanna work for it, they just wanna recieve.
Then some complain about the lack of story in the game. YOU WERE NEVER PROMISED ONE.. IDIOTS...
Then we have the people that complain that they don't have time to play the game with their friends and blame the game for it. WHAT THE ****....
And here comes my review of it.
Firstly: This is not a game for everyone. If you only play fast paced games like CoD, Battlefield, Blacklight and the likes and don't wanna "work" too hard for your kills, then this might not be for you.
Im not gonna go into what you actualy do in the game, since people should know that by now.
Just know that it is not a fast paced ultra psycho shooter. It takes time, patience and brain (something alot of young people don't posses). Communication and humor are also welcome additions to what people bring to the game.
The game takes time to learn, mostly as a monster. The learning curb might be a steep, but you'll get there, if you are willing to give the game more than 1 or 2 hours of time, before you start whinning like a cry baby. The game can be very diverse, but yes, at the same time it can also be repetetive. It all depends on your point of view. If all you see, is you and 3 others hunting a monster, then yes. You will be bored quickly. But if you look beyond that, and realize that you are hunting a monster, played by someone else, and appreciate , the way he plays and the way your hunter teammates play, then it will be a whole different ball game. It is diverse in the way that people go about being the monster or the hunters.
The game could possibly get boring pretty soon, if you have only played it in offline mode. It's funny that people demanded Offline mode, then they get it and complain that it's boring. Ofcause it won't be as fun as the online mode. A game like Evolve shines the most when playing online. And it's bullcrap, that people say that, you can only play it with friends. I had some great times during the Alpha and Beta. Only played it with random people i didn't know and there were some great moments. (fun fact: Swedes seem to be most talkative people around and including my country) There are some great chaotic moments in there. Just had one today. We engaged the Goliath in a crevice. Lots of stuff was going on all around. Hard to see what was going on with explotions and shrapnel flying everywhere, and out of nowhere, a tyrant comes out of the water and almost eats two of our hunters, while the goliath is trying to beat the crap out of us and the Tyrant at the same time. Good times i tell you.
All in all i say this is a very fun game. It is for people who likes teamwork, that have patience and likes a challenge. It most certainly most enjoyable online, but i can see how it would become boring if people don't talk, SO TALK PEOPLE, be chatty. It is so much more enjoyable.
It is not for people who aren't teamplayers and people that wanna get results without work.
Sorry for typos. Im tired, wrote all this in one go, and can't be bothered to check it through.… Expand

Well. The game is as broken as everybody claims. When launching things look ok for a couple of seconds. Then everything starts turning green. Then when you get to the mission select screen. You can choose the first mission and be stuck on the loading screen. FOREVER.
Ubisoft is really giving it to EA.

Once you finaly got there it all just didn't feel very fun or exciting.
Then just for the heck of it i tried it again a few weeks ago. This is a decision i do not regret.. The game has improved massively since i last played it. The gameplay is fun and challenging.
This game is what Battlefield was. A TEAM PLAYER game. You don't win anything by playing alone. You win by working as a team. That's where the game shines most. The teamwork.. You can have amazing fun and epic battles when battles are led by commanders that know their tactics. And squads work together.
If you expect to play this by yourself as you would Battlefield 3. You might aswell head back to that, cause you won't find this fun.
It takes time to get better gear in this game. You can't play for a couple of days and expect to have unlocked 7 new guns and 15 new attachments. You earn Certs as you play the game and with these you can buy new weapons, attachments, vehicle upgrades and upgrades for your Individual classes.
If you want the better gear, you gotta play longer to get the Certs to buy it. It is not a pay to win game. You can do just fine playing without paying. Though if you are impatient, you will find that it helps, buying a premium account. You really don't need to though. You will find that just buying a grip for you gun for 100 certs/5 good hours of playtime, will show huge improvements. Though it will take a long time to get certs enough for the best gear.… Expand

The levels are not as big as some of the previous games, but if you ask me, they are way more detailed and more options than the previous Hitman games. You don't get to much of an open world anymore, but more a, get from point A to Point B style. i was skeptical about this at first, but grew to love it, even though it's a From point A to B, you still get alot of diversion and ALOT of choices on how you wanna get there. The new disguise system is 50/50, i love how it adds to the realism. The cop will know you are not one of his colleagues, but how is the civillian to know that you are not a cop? It is a bit to sensitive though, even though you are standing with your back to a guy who is 6-7 meters away he will still notice that you are not one of them, and that is a bit to much. You don't get to choose what weapons and equipment you wanna use anymore at the start of the game though, but i think this adds to the fun, and it works well with the story, this also means that you don't have a pocket filled with thousand coins anymore, instead you gotta find objects around the world, that you can use as distractions/weapons, this is also a welcome change.
The story is also a big part of Absolution, in the previous games. You got your mission and then you executed it, however you felt like and that was that, and that was good, cause that's why you played it.
I felt alot more motivated to keep going in this one, cause of the story and what happend in it, and even though i mostly try to do it stealth with none or a few extra casualties , there was just places where i went in guns blazing cause i didn't think the ones i was up against deserved to live. I also had some really heartpounding moments, cause i was so focused on killing my target for one reason or another and that rarely happens to me.
On that note, it also alot funnier to do fire fights in Absolution: When you empty your 45 cal. UMP magazine into a guy and you see him spasm all over the place as he falls to the ground, feels really awesome.
All in all I will give this game a 9/10 it is a great game, but with a few things i would like tweeked, but these things are so minor that they can be looked through pretty easly. Don't expect the next version of Blood Money, but a deeper more involved game.… Expand
