Average User Score: 5.5Jan 16, 2014RAGE QUITTERS FFS. I happen to be quite good at the game because I have played other versions of the game and out of all the races I have done so far I have finished two! Why is there no punishment for rage quitters? I buy power ups in the slot machines and then the other player just rage quits as soon as I take the lead and I do not get a win or my rings back!
If you are good at kart racers then stay well away from this because other players will just rage quit as soon as you take the lead without any forfeit making it impossible for you to rank up....… Expand
Average User Score: 8.0Jan 13, 2014This game is so much fun to play. This is one of the best side scrolling platformer's around today. The graphics are very colourful and fun to look at and the variety in environments is very nice as well. Using the different power ups is as fun as ever. The difficulty is just right and for people who may be less skilled there is a super guide mode where the game shows you how to get through or level or you can just let it do it for you instead so it doesn't get too frustrating.
There's not much else to say really this is good old Mario, the gameplay just gets better and better...… Expand
Average User Score: 8.1Jan 13, 2014This game is outstanding, the graphical style is fantastic to look at and you will often find yourself looking at the views when you are in tall buildings. The gameplay is some of the best I have played in this genre and the augmentations (character upgrades) really change the way that you play the game and approach different situations of which there are many options. The storyline is very compelling and has some real life undertones to it. The sound is also very good and suits the sci-fi nature of the game well.
There are many weapons in the game which are all really fun to use and can be upgraded too with things like explosive bullets and laser sights etc.
The hacking mini game is also one of the best ones I have seen in a game and is really satisfying to unlock areas and find goodies inside. The wii u game pad also makes the hacking more fun and adds new elements to the game. The ability to hack robots and turrets to turn them against your enemies is also super fun.
I would strongly recommend this game to anyone who likes sci-fi shooters/stealth games because this is one of the best ones around and the wii u version is the best version because of the added game pad functionality.… Expand
Average User Score: 4.3Nov 27, 2013The game works very well on the iPad air and is buttery smooth. The game has nice graphics and the controls work well for a first person shooter title (they often don't). The strategic top down mode adds a ton to the gameplay and strategy to the missions which is really fun to use. The survival missions add a lot of replay value and are really fun. The game does lack multiplayer which a lot of people will be surprised by considering this is COD but the game wouldn't really be suited to multiplayer anyway and is very focused on the single player experience which is excels at.… Expand
Average User Score: 9.0Sep 10, 2013This game is simply a must buy for all Vita owners. Everything about this game is groundbreaking for a handheld console, the ps3 quality graphics (online videos do not do it justice), the amazing addictive gameplay and cash system, the very well implemented controls or the truly console quality multiplayer.… Expand
Average User Score: 8.0Aug 11, 2013This game is frustrating as hell and everything in the game is explained very poorly. Expect to spend countless hours collecting rare items like bugs and plants just to use as bait to kill something else. The character dialog in the game is practically unreadable for some unknown reason (very dodgy font was used). The controls are very clunky and annoying as hell and you need a circle pad pro to play the game properly. Some quests involve many hours of looking through the same area over and over again in order to find an item that is required which is not fun at all.
Be warned this game is NOT for newcomers or people who don't like to run in and out of the same area a million times just to find a bug and when you do find it there's still only about 10% chance it will drop.
The graphics are also very blurry and low res unless you use the 3D effect which hurts my eyes after 5 minutes.
One last thing why is there no online multiplayer, a game like this is clearly designed as an online experience. If no one else that you know has the game I would strongly recommend not buying this.… Expand
Average User Score: 4.3Jul 18, 2013This game is brilliant, it plays just like the console versions do. The graphics are amazing and the game play is rich and immersive with many different ways to approach each encounter. There is a large number of weapons and attachments and the praxis upgrade system is very compelling just like in the Human Revolution.
The game does have some slight performance issues if you are not running on an iPhone 5 or latest iPad, iPhone 5 version works perfectly but the 5th gen ipod touch/iPad mini has frame rate issues and randomly closes due to lack of ram but its still playable and enjoyable on that device.
I am not usually a fan of using touch screens for these types of games but this game controls exceptionally well and is a joy to play. The UI is a bit small like many iPhone 5 games and you may have to squint a bit to read everything, not sure why they always create microscopic UI's lately (MC4 comes to mind). The game is also a bit short but then again it costs £3.99 so...
Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, they are just people who have jail broken devices and they couldn't shoot in the game and this has been sorted now so ignore that. This game is GOOD. If iOS had more games like this it could really be considered a handheld console.… Expand
Average User Score: 9.1Jun 14, 2013This game is kinda overrated. The game play is not that amazing really the gun play is very similar to uncharted (as you would kinda expect I suppose). The story line is not all that and the first couple of hours are pretty boring, I hate games that take ages to get going. The graphics are pretty good and so is the animation too. How many zombie games do we really need though This genre is massively over done, when are people gonna get over zombies geez...Also at the time of writing this there is a massive game breaking bug which makes you unable to save your progress and has affected TONS of people.… Expand
Average User Score: 8.0Jun 2, 2013The handling of the cars feels quite good and it reminds me a lot of the original on the Sega Saturn. There are not really enough tracks though and the single player mode is quite short. The specialist cars that you unlock seem to be always worse than the stock cars (harder to handle and have no tire choice), there's really not much point to ever using them. The graphics are good by PSP standards.… Expand
