-Platforming is rigid. You have little control other than to guide Nathan Drake into his animations.
-Absurdly unrealistic jumping/climbing and story can cause you to roll your eyes. I know I did.Apparently Drake is the one, the true, American Ninja Warrior.
-No crouching other when using cover. Stealth could be more of an option. Really stealth is only applicable when the game suggests it.
-The game sometimes will just throw waves of enemies at you and you will probably die a few times because an enemy spawned behind you or on your flank and you don't notice because there is no mini map.

For instance when you are outside (because it is a nuclear waste land) you need a gas mask and to constantly replace your filter, this makes you feel rushed as you should be because realistically nuclear wastelands aren't ideal locales for leisurely strolls. You kill both people and monsters using stealth at times and gung ho guns ablazin' at other times. The action however feels chopped up into small parts either because of loading screen or cutscenes. Metro last light is more of an "experience" game rather than a viscerally fun game.… Expand

Soccer with cars!! There is little depth beyond using angles and timing your jump (to hit the ball) with the bounce of the ball but damn it is the most purely fun game I have played all year. I would equate it to something like Super Smash Bros in that it is easy to pick up and play, there is a lot of room to increase your skill, and it's just incredible fun.… Expand

-Great world and great characters who are well fleshed out.
-Magic and alchemy system adds much more depth to the gameplay than most other games can boast.
-So much to do and so much to see.
-Your decision to have an affect on the world and its people though I think the estimation of those effects are overblown.
-World is filled with generic peasant npcs. Don't expect to wonder the world and meet interesting people. The interesting people you do meet are a part of the story.
-The combat is clunky and your horse has some of the worst controls I have seen in a top notch video game.
Verdict: If this games side quests were as interesting as skyrim, mass effect, or fallout then this would probably be one of my favorite games of all time. In my opinion the lack of interesting npc characters makes the huge world a little dull to explore. That's just my own preference when it comes to exploration. But really that is a small criticism. -Great writing and voice acting
-Beautiful graphical style
-The logic is zany but only mildly so making the puzzles much more...well, logical but still fantastical.
-Recycled areas between act 1 and 2 start to make the world feel stale as you get towards the end.
-I myself wasn't a fan of the end/story and that's all I'll say about that/
-There are some frustrating puzzles that make checking walkthroughs very tempting. I'm thinking of you wire puzzles!
Conclusion: It's a game I wanted to like a lot but ended up getting tired of and at times frustrated with. Yet I still do like it.… Expand

-Graphics and art style that is pretty enough to be one of those artsy fartsy games, the games that are light on gameplay and say "it's all about the expppeerriiennce," but not.
-The characters are lovable and the story has serious tear jerking moments.
-A whole list of moves that you gradually learn along your journey: jump, double jump, wall jump, wall climb, and you even have this move where you fling yourself off of your enemy. The level design, array of moves, and intricate ways of using those moves keep the platforming engaging and challenging.
-Did I say challenging? I did! It's a real hard game. I'm pretty sure I suck at these type of game but I stuck with it and enjoyed and respected this game.
-You have 3 tower escape levels (they are not literally towers, you're in a forest, but you know what I mean) and they largely revolve around memorizing a sequence of events in order to navigate around them. For instance there was a part where 3/4 of the roof collapsed and the only way you could survive is if you were already in or near the 1/4 side of the room where the roof remained in tact. For a game that is heavily revolved around player precision and skill this seemed a lot more of an arbitrary life or death toss up.
-Save points are manual and they come from a collecting blue orbs (kinda like a mp gauge for save points) but there is rarely a high demand for those blue orbs as they are plentiful enough so you can save near constantly and be fine. It really defeats the purpose of the mechanic.
Conclusion: More often than not games are either viscerally fun or a great experience. This is a rare instances where a game is both. I highly recommend it.… Expand

You have four demands that keep you ever expanding your city and those are: residential zone demand, industrial zone demand, business zone demand, and services demand (being schools, hospitals, police, electricity, water, etc.)
-The game does a good job at encouraging expansion. You never stagnant because there is always something to build. You can take out loans so if you don't have money saved but demands for zones or services you don't have to wait.
-Roads Roads Roads Roads Roads. Everything revolves around round. Everything must border a road to be built. You also have traffic. Creating a blueprint for your city is 90% deciding what roads to build and how to connect everything so traffic doesn't get congested. If you are like me when you are driving in a city and curse at the city planner for nonsensical/impractical design you will be humbled by this game when you realize these little simulated folks are cursing your name just as vehemently.
-You have population milestones that expand your technologies and give you a sizable monetary bonus.
-When you zoom in the graphics look blurry. Like an out of focus photo but it's not really a big deal.
-Some buildings require a certain population level in order to unlock/build. Like a forestry industrial zone. Why do I need a certain population to cut down trees? Thankfully you can turn this feature off and be able to build everything right from the beginning so even that is hardly a negative.
Conclusion: The best at doing what is does plus you just know we are going to get expansion packs. it's a game worth playing.… Expand

Then toss in 80s inspired music and ultraWhat is this game?!?!: A top down retro action game that is best approached slow and methodical. Then toss in 80s inspired music and ultra violence and you got Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.
-People rave about the music and it is a part of creating a unique atmosphere that is distinguishably Hotline Miami.
-A lot of people say there is a lack of variety in dealing with levels. Though what they mean is that a lot of times that variety is imposed on you by the game and not your own choice which I think is fine. Sometimes you'll play a scene with a fisticuffs reporter and sometimes you'll be a Rambo esque shotgun and knife wielding jungle commando.
-Pretty atrocious AI respond nonsensically at times. For instance when you shoot a gun a select few enemies (seemingly regardless of distance) charge at you and others stay. After you shoot a gun and go into a room the enemies pile into the doorway where you easily slaughter them. But to make up for all the bad AI they have amazing accuracy.
-Offscreen enemies see you before you see them. This is a problem more so in this game due to the bigger levels and longer hallways. And when they do see you apparently they have an auto lock function because they snipe you dead. Not to mention dogs. Run at you from offscreen and bam. Dead. Auto lock jaw on your neck.
-Story has many different characters that is jumps back and forth between and years that it also jumps back and forth between making it very hard to keep up with but honestly it could have no story and that'd sort of be fine.
Conclusion: I feel like to play this game is to play around it's inefficiencies. Exploiting the bad AI and avoiding hallways when possible. It is a frustrating experience whereas the first wasn't even though it pretty much had the same cons. A lot of times when I died I felt it was because of the faults of the game (AI/autolock/offscreen enemies) and not myself. Though that is not to say that every time I died I felt I had been cheated by the game. A lot of times it was a misplay, I didn't react quickly enough, didn't time my stab right, etc. And that's fine. That's great even. But to me I was too overwhelmed by the other times when I felt the game was ****… Expand

-The game does not hold your hand. You need to figure out how to escape on your own and you also need to figure out what you will need to complete your plan and where you'll hide those items while you bid your time.
-Sims-esque as you have a routine of eating, showering, working out, reading, working, spending money, all while coming up with a master plan behind the guards backs.
-Money management, crafting, and limited resources help build tension as you pray your plan works. Some of the most satisfying moments to be had in gaming is seeing your plans come to fruition and finally escaping.
-Inmates say funny little one liners as they walk by. I got a few chuckles and one hardy laugh out of it.
-Graphics could bother some. It didn't bother me stylistically however I did feel more eye strain than normal.
-Realistically if you want to save time and frustration you should consult a wiki for all the items you can craft. Collecting blueprints in game and randomly trying to mash items together to see what fits takes too long and wastes valuable resources. Some crafted items also don't seem very realistic. Did you know paper mache and ink will build you a fake wall? I did not.
-While it is cool to be able to name all your prisonmates and guards I think it would be a lot cooler if your inmate pals had any real personality and background.
