They've taken the core mechanics of the Max Payne series and put their own spin on it. Bullet time was tested in Red Dead Redemption and perfected for this title.
Without going into any details or spoilers on the story, this reminds me a lot of the film 'Man on Fire' - great intense action throughout. I've yet to experience the multiplayer, but even as an offline single player title you'll get plenty of bang for your buck. Complete the game to unlock Old School and Hardcore mode and there's also an arcade mode to keep you busy.
Overall a brilliant, polished experience that Rockstar continues to deliver game after game. A must buy!… Expand

It builds on everything that was great about Assassin's Creed II and makes it the ultimate experience for the series to date (Keep in mind I review this AFTER Revelations has been released).
This is a game that will keep you occupied for countless hours. This story is well thought out and delivered with great cut scenes, the introduction of recruiting and training assssins is a great touch and the wealth of side missions makes the game not only hard to put down, but will have you coming back for more long after the main story has completed.
For anyone into action/adventure/stealth games I highly recommend this title. At a bargain £15 now you really can't go wrong!

The latest installment of the FIFAAs usual on this site people are either at one extreme or another, but don't worry, I'll keep you right. The latest installment of the FIFA Street series is far and above the best. Gone are the cartoon graphics and skills so ridiculous no human could possibly pull off. Instead, this game is graphically similar to FIFA 12, except Street takes the skill system implemented in '12 and amps it up just nicely.
At times this really does play like street football. Really good use of the boards, and a real focus on not only beating your opponent in goals scored, but tricks performed. There are also lots of different venues which alter how you approach the match, with 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 and 6v6 all playable.
With a World Tour Mode and a wealth of online options, this game is a win. It's not perfect, there are times when the fluency shows cracks, but these are all things that could be worked on for the next installment. Rather than have EA release FIFA Street, Euro 2012 and FIFA 13 all in the one year I'd like to see them continue to release the yearly FIFA title and then alternate between Euro/World Cup & Street games to keep things fresh and avoid overkill.
Hope this review has helped. Peace.… Expand
