Average User Score: 8.4Jan 31, 2014I would give this a 9.5. This game is absolutely one of the best point and click graphic adventure games I have ever played. Wadget Eye Games are now my favorite company to produce games in this genre.
Gemini Rue has probably the most captivating story of all time in any game that I have played. It's story line is movie quality. So, why not a 10? I thought a couple of the dialogue sequences to get someone to do what you want by constantly clicking another option after reengaging with them was tedious and unrealistic. The graphics could have been better, though that's a minor complaint as it didn't take away from gameplay. There was also a little bit of a lull to the gameplay/story in beginning-middle of the game. Then it took off again and had one of the best plot twists a video game. One of my top 5 favorite games of all time!… Expand
Average User Score: 7.8Jan 9, 2014One of the best point and click graphic adventures ever. I have a hard time thinking about a story line that was more complex with twists and turns in a video game than Resonance. I really liked that you could grab subjects/objects as the topic of a conversation than being presented with fixed options as in most graphic adventure games. The biggest issues I had with was the graphics (retro, so forgivable) and the automated dialogue for greetings with other characters that plagues pretty much all graphic adventure point and click games. I would say almost every puzzle was related to the actual story at hand, except for a couple that seemed to be out of place. If you are a fan of point of click graphic adventure games like the old Lucas Art Films games (e.g. Grim Fandango), then I think you should get this!… Expand
Average User Score: 8.8Oct 19, 2013Pros: The plot, character development, and voice acting make The Walking Dead a great game.
Cons: Puzzles are extremely easy and lacking. At times, I felt that this game felt more like an interactive movie than a game.
I'm a big fan of graphic adventure games such as Tales of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and the old Indiana Jones' games. So, when playing point and click adventure games I look for challenging and fun puzzles to solve which aren't really present with The Walking Dead. However, because it is one of the best stories that I have ever experienced in a game and I gain such a strong attachment with the main character that I ended up tearing up at the end. Great game.… Expand
