However, the first episode fell seriously short of my expectations. I was seriously taken aback that Bryce was even allowed a position on the top 12. He could not sing well! But I pushed on, and I was really impressed with the third episode.
So far, the show has been kicking contestants whom audiences really did not like very much. But i was conflicted during the 3rd episode, and that's what reality competition is about, getting the audience involved in the show by wondering who is going out next week. It took 3 episodes, and a fair bit of cleansing, but i finally saw the tear-jerking side of glee that i missed so much.… Expand

It knows when to bring on the laughs and when to bring on the suspense. It knows when to break the tension and when to elevate it. It has relatable characters that are flawed despite the amazing situations they find themselves in.
What i find most amazing is how there is so little romance in the show, it's not totally missing, but it isn't overhyped.

The only few scenes in the entire show that i can remember is Anna's msg when they first arrived and her screaming at the death of her children as well as her trying to stem her tears when she ordered to kill the survivors.

There's always mystery on board the ship, and it was sufficient for several episodes without off world missions.
Despite a slow first season, i am really geared up in season 2 by the more fast-paced actions.… Expand
