The graphics are sharper but not better than the previous gens versions and the gameplay is the same. That's not a bad thing because the other games were excellent but surely we should expect more than a pathetic attempt at Bat tank/mobile sections, that are tacked on and are terrible.
I bought this game on Day One and after doing the same with The Witcher 3 and Project Cars, I can honestly say that I will be waiting at least 2 weeks from now on.
My advice? Wait for this game to go down in price before buying. It's an okay game but not as good as Asylum or City.… Expand

The campaign is a lot of fun. Yes it's still the same point to point COD fare but the tech makes that journey a lot more interesting.
As for the MP, don't get me started. It's frickin' excellent!
The map design, the balanced gameplay and the excellent meaty sound creates not only the best COD since COD 4 but one of the best FPS I've ever played.
A lot of people are saying that this is the same COD experience as every year, don't listen because they haven't played it. This is COD on steroids and the verticality makes a massive difference to the MP.
I got this for £40 and it's worth every single hard earned penny.… Expand

Pros: Beautiful game with great sound and loads of content. The car collection is excellent and all are faithfully reproduced. MP and SP are loads of fun (Don't expect it to be a sim, it's a video game), varied challenges and online road trips are a good laugh..
Some texture pop, too easy to earn enough money to upgrade cars or buy the top cars, scenery can get a bit repetitive.

If you are reading Metacritic to help you make a decision about whether to buyWARNING!! If you love gaming you have to read this review!!
If you are reading Metacritic to help you make a decision about whether to buy Destiny or not. STOP.
All the positive and negative reviews are useless at this point because unless you've played this game for the last 24 hours or so in one sitting, then you don't know anything about the game.
This game is massive and there's so much to see and do that no decent reviewer or gamer would dare to review it at this point. Saying that, my review and score are based on my first 8-9 hours in the Destiny universe.
Firstly, this game is a great social experience. Get a fireteam together and head off the Devils Lair and you will pick up loads of loot and have a great time taking down the "bosses". Scouring the Cosmodrome for jobs and loot is a great way to pass the time and now and again, a public event drops in and the guardians in the area band together to take down a walker.
There's a lot to unlock, from armour and guns to sparrows and ships. Then there's the Crucible, if you want to scratch your competitive MP itch. For me this is the weakest part of Destiny and feels a little lightweight compared to Halo's MP. The map design isn't great but I'm sure the DLC will sort that out.
So to sum up so far, Destiny's first few hours in Co-op are excellent and that's where it's strength lies. Give it time and it will grow on you. It's more of an MMO than say Halo, so the more you put in, the more you get out.
Go buy it and have fun. Oh and add me on XBL, gamertag: monkeyofthefunk.… Expand

Call of Duty Ghosts is the worst game I have played for a very long time. I have played the MP since launch and every now and then I jump into it again to see if it's better than I remember and honestly, it gets worse every time. The MP is unbalanced, laggy and runs on the same engine as every other COD.
The single player is a drag through a tunnel, a film you spent £10 on and enjoyed the trailers more. I normally love COD games and they are a yearly purchase for me but this is just horrible.
If you are thinking of picking this game up, don't, just don't. Go to your nearest homeless person and hand them your £30 or £40. Trust me you will feel better.… Expand

It's an outstanding game with great graphics, deep gameplay, collectibles and a good story. I've not been able to put it down and with the quality of graphics, it puts down a marker for Uncharted 4.
I've not played the MP yet but I may give it a try when I'm done with the campaign.

This has been my favouriteAfter selling my Wii U last year due to the lack of games, I always knew I would return for some Mario Kart action. This has been my favourite franchise and has always been a great series to play with friends.
Mario Kart 8 is no different. It's brings fun back to your living room and with the solid, and free, online features, MK8 is the perfect progression of the series.
The first thing that hits you is the HD graphics. From the load screen and replays to the reflections on the players helmets, Nintendo have gone all out to impress this time round.
The gameplay is amazing fun and even better online. The customisations, although a tad limited, are a great addition to the home console version and the tracks are designed with love and attention.
It's not perfect by any means. The reason it doesn't get a ten is because the single player seems to be a lot easier than previous games and the battle mode has been ruined but this game is all about multiplayer racing, both local and online.
Get some mates together or fire up the online mode and this is where MK8 excels.

The story andI purchased Dead Rising with my Day One Xbox One and I have to say it's a good game but man does it get boring quick!
The story and characters and forgettable, the graphics for a powerful console are not good, I know there are loads of Zombies on screen but this is where the biggest problem with DR3 is.
To show the power of the Xbox One, the streets are filled with thousands of Zombies, but this means getting from one point to another is a chore. It's great fun at first, mowing Zombies down and getting your kill count up, but it really starts to give you that feeling of " Oh no, not more Zombies". If you want to find out why the story takes a back seat to killing Zombies, take a look at the achievements list.
The original Dead Rising was fun, but DR3 has been destroyed by the notion of quantity over quality.… Expand

Legends is split into levels, or paintings and you can do play them in any order, once they are unlocked.
The levels are varied enough to keep you going, especially the musical levels which for me are designed by somebody with great imagination. To ensure the player keeps pace on these levels is a triumph that only Ubisoft seem to be able to pull off at the moment.
In a world of shooters, sports games and RPG's, going back to platformers and making them better than they have been for many years is brave, but when you pull it off and create something as enjoyable as Rayman Legends, the risk is well worth it.
I hope this isn't the last Rayman game that Ubisoft produce, the gaming world needs you Rayman!… Expand

Great graphics and sound, solid single player gameplay with a few new ideas and a challenging, team focused multiplayer.
The single player campaign is fun, if not too difficult and has a good story for a modern FPS. It's not a new game and most of it has been done before, but the spit and polish make it a game you will want to play through to the end.
Multiplayer rewards team play and can be punishing for mercenaries. Get a clan together and you'll have a lot of fun.
There will be better shooters this gen but for now, Killzone Shadow Fall is worth a punt.… Expand
