Playing is fun and kind of "easy", but it still takes skill to win. I would give 9/10, but this game has one VERY big issue. It could be patched, but right now it isnt.
Game has no option to play online ONLY with certain area (asia/europe/usa) or my country. I cant even see my or opponents ping and it is always a gamble if game is even playable. Example: I start to search a game and automaticly joined a game where everyone else is american, now everyones game is ruined cause my ping/latency to usa is bad! Horrible. This is so frustrating cause other online games doesnt have problem like this. Good that it's still possible to play with friends if everyone is on others friend list and then online play is awesome.
Nintendo plz! I hope this game gets patched soon.… Expand

Casual players can play through the whole game by just smashing punch button, but it gets very boring. Advanced players try to invent insanely long combos with different moves what is more rewarding and fun.
Flow of the game is not very good in first play through. So many animations and collectible notes and books almost ruined the game for me, until I just stopped reading them. Looks ike they got 0 value and reading just ruins flow of the game.
First play through in story mode was 12 hours for me, and after that when you get more weapons game gets interesting (if you didn't get the weapons just google how to get them). Multiplayer ja extra chapters where you just fight with enemies in arena is very fun and them add replayablebility.… Expand
Average User Score: 3.2Nov 24, 2013This is my first X game and when I saw few videos on youtube about this game I got really excited. I preordered this.
Things: -FramerateThis is my first X game and when I saw few videos on youtube about this game I got really excited. I preordered this.
-Framerate is low, not unplayable but low (i7 950,12 GB, GTX480).
**** is nice and seeing things like trade routes from the screen what pops up in the ship is cool and gives nice immersion that I really am on that ship.
-When I'm flying could have more little screens, like one for the target ship info, map, communication... There is unused space for that atm.
-Interface on communication is bad. To be more precise its console game bad and its slow & hard to use. Why? If there is over 12 possibilities to choose from WHY. THE. F. I can see only 5 at the time?!! It could be just 12 rows and even game pad user could see all possibilities and choose from those, fast. Not by pressing "show more..." and wait for slow menu reappering. Very bad desing.
-As a newb I could really use more info about everything. Oh its not a mechanic that repairs your ship, I wonder what it is (answer: engineer). I had and still have to google very much. Civilization 4 had excellent hyperlink system what showed Civilopedia about the thing player was wondering. There is Encylopedia on the game but it could be much better.
-On campaing/tutorial people speak same time as info text shows on the screen so player doesnt remember either. There are no conversation logs or info text log. Good that missions have little briefing text to Missions screen.
-Trading is hard. Or actually probably not, cause bugs just didnt let you trade. It might be better now, after trading patch. I havent tried cause new bugs came with that patch.
-I like the thing that trade doesnt happen instantly and you have to wait ship to arrive, and actually transfer stuff with space station.
-I like moving on the stations on first person camera, but stealing stuff feels little silly. Framerate on the stations is bad too and stations are all the same. I understand that and its not big problem.
Game isnt very bad, just released too early with bugs. I'm sure bugs gets fixed but at the same time I want to get back to space to trade, fight, mine and all, but I cant cause the game doesnt work!
With better UI and bug free I could give this 9/10. As high as 9 because this is first game like this that I play, veterans of X serie probably give less.… Expand

Biggest difference in previous TrackmaniasEasy arcade style handling, short tracks with huge jumps and speed. Thats what this game is about. Biggest difference in previous Trackmanias are drifting and better graphics. Drifting brings new dimension to driving and I never play previous titles anymore.
Single player is boring and works for tutorial, but online is where the fun starts. Since game has track editor there is thousands of user created tracks and best thing is that user created tracks are mostly awesome. Usually amateurs make bad content, but you cant go very wrong with the tracks and bad maps are removed from servers. Like previous titles this has RPG tracks too, what are very hard and take hours to finish. Very, very clever. Another thing what makes this game so good is adrenaline rush cause you dont know what is after next jump or curve. Awesomeness of this game is impossible to show in videos or text, you need to play to understand what I'm talking about.… Expand

Awesome action clips are really epic, but gameplay isnt very good. Fighting is basically just smashing one button and sometimes using strong attack or shoot, but not anything like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry. Quick Time Events are mostly easy and it wasnt problem for me like hard QTE's in God of War. Mostly QTE's affects only score and only sometimes animation is different. There has come some DLC out. Episode 11.5 (160 live points) is just crappy 10 minutes long anime cartoon of fighting against some gohma with useless QTE's and not actual gameplay. It was so bad I dont even wanna know what Episode 15.5 (160 live points) is. But there is now more!
At the end of april came DLC episodes 19-22 (560 live points) and oh boy. This completes the game and those should have been in the game at the first place! When I played Asuras Wrath without DLC I was after ending like "Meh.. Game had its good parts, but I probably never play this again." After DLC and real ending I had big smile on my face and whole game felt better. I recommend DLC for everybody who didnt actually hate this game. Overall this is average, but still good and short game. Definedly buy if you like epic fights.… Expand

Unique fighting styles withStreet Fighters, Mortal Kombats, yes I have played those much but could fighting games evolve? Yes, BlazBlue. Unique fighting styles with proper single player story what gives characters a soul (attention developers of Soul Calibur V, awesome single player and training mode is possible). When I bought first of the series BlazBlue: Clamity Trigger thing what I noticed was that amateurs could make combos and FEEL the game. After that was uniqueness of characters and last enjoyable story mode. I was in love. Now I bought newest gameof serie and still feel the same. Its true that game is almost the same that BB: Continuum Shift, but look at Street Fighters and expecially Mortal Kombat. This game is pure art and it isnt as hard as one may think.… Expand
