Average User Score: 6.9Nov 17, 2013Just played the game after frustration with BF4 servers and all I can say is that this game doesn't look like anything innovative to say the least. The game actually feels kinda dull however this does not mean it is bad. For those of you who have never played a Killzone title, this game is a must buy if you get the PS4 because this game offers an interesting mix of common modern shooters and sci fi shooters.
Killzone: Shadow Fall takes place 30 years after the events of KZ 3 and Vekta city is divided. The story reminds the player immediately of a cold war esque story between good and evil however if you watch the trailers, you will delve deeper into a twisted story of corruption and lies. As a noob of the Killzone series I immedeatly played hard mode and noticed no difficulty in killing my foes however this may be just for the few starting levels. I hope that is ineed the case.
Campaign Rating: 8/10
I am not sure if I am somehow very good at Killzone or if everyone is just really bad at the multiplayer but either way I got a lot of fun out of the multiplayer as I really loved the gameplay in the trailers. I highly recommend newbies to the franchise to try out fighting bots or going to one of the low level Warzones. The elephant in the room (As said by TotalBiscuit almost in every video) that I think the critics are getting attacked by fans of the Playstation is that the game offers no innovation in anyway when it comes to multiplayer. It's true. Critics are right that the game has no innovation with game modes I mean for crying out loud, is search and destroy in every game now including Battlefield 4? They aren't right though that the multiplayer. It still remains a fun thing to go on after playing the campaign for a bit.
MP Rating 7/10
I left the PS3 in 2009 but never played a single KZ so this was my first and I have to say that this game is very fun and I highly recommend people in my shoes do the same.
Final Verdict: 8/10 Yes you should buy this game.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.1Nov 16, 2013PC PLAYERS ON PS4 READ: Don't forget you can skip that tutorial
I played Warframe on the PC and all I can say is what the hell DE? What did you do to the Braton and the Lato; made em into nerf guns lol. Anyway, my PC sucks so when I played it on the PS4 I immedeatly noticed the fidelity of the game's graphics and FPS making it a great F2P title for the PS4. The gameplay is sound however I must warn all PS4 players that you should probably check the sensitivity and do not worry about your weapon sucking because they will get much better *Cough* *Cough* get the Boltor.
READ THIS FOR MICROTRANSACTION WARNING
I must warn all of you PS4 newbies though that if you haven't played Warframe on the PC, then you'll probably notice the Microtransactions of the game. You will either love it or hate but more than likely hate the weapons slots and Warframe slots. It isn't Pay to Win but it is annoying nevertheless.
This game gets an 8/10 for maintaining the great gampelay of Warframe from PC and instead giving us low end PC players a chance to experience 60 FPS on the PS4.… Expand
Average User Score: 6.5Nov 16, 2013Why should I play a puzzle game on the PS4 when I could just play one on Kongregate. IDK maybe that's my taste but for all of you PS+ players, try it out. You might like the gameplay as it is similar to another Flash Game Puzzle called Shift. I'm going to give it a 7/10 to be lenient because I think my view on Puzzle games is different than other games with a price tag on them.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.7Nov 16, 2013I never expected a side scoller to be one of my favorites from Sony's exclusive list but it has. It's right up there and Playstation Plus makes it free! A good game that's free, you don't see that every day. This game is a great addition made by PS and I recommend anyone who has it to play and even if you don't have PS+, it's only $15 for a game that will give you a lot of fun just like in the old arcade games you and your friends used to play at the local Pizza Hut, instead it looks next gen.
This game for $15 and free for PS+ gets a 10/10. Can't wait to play some more Resogun.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.8Nov 16, 2013To put it short, XCOM Enemy Within will fix many of the problems you had in Enemy Unknown. This includes Dr. Vahlen never shutting up, removing all items from soldiers (In order to find that one person who has that medkit to give them to someone else), bringing back the freshness of exploring new maps, combating new and dangerous foes, fighting against humans, customizing your character even more, and a new branch of missions from the council.
This game gets a 9/10 since some of the problems haven't been fixed by Firaxis but XCOM Enemy Within is a great expansion with a great TU to the original game.

Average User Score: 6.5Nov 16, 2013The Good
When I first played BF4, I got in a Zodiac on Hainan Resort Rush and beat the living out of the enemy, watching helicopters fly by and APC's rolling onto land. It felt epic to see as if the match I was playing was literally a campaign mission. The immersion of Battlefield 4 on the PS4 is so amazing that you will think that it is a campaign mission. The innovation of the game features more destruction brought back from BF BC2 (Doesn't really count) and other additions like closing doors, opening security gates, etc which is what makes BF4 great. The campaign on BF4 is still kinda bad however you will get a better time from it than CoD Ghosts or BF3.
Battlefield 4 may be an improvement in some parts of BF3 but it is a let down in others. Some of the weapons of the game once again prove to be useless and no one will ever use them i.e. DMR's (3 hits to kill someone instead of 2). BF4 also has many server problems (See BF4 on PS4 below) which account to my frustration towards DICE. I think the worst part about this game might be the netcode or suppression. I'm not sure if suppression really does anything towards the people I'm shooting at but the netcode is atrocious in BF4 from what I've seen. I'll give DICE the benefit of the doubt that it's new and all but still, if DICE doesn't fix the netcode problem then you're going to have a bad time on BF4. Also they removed Spawn invulnerability so expect to die immediately when you spawn on your squad-mates; I advise to spawn at a deployment site or in a vehicle with your squad.
BF4 on PS4
-Is this game as graphically good as the PC? No but not by much. If you have a high-end PC then get BF4 for the PC because BF4 looks as always best on the PC but if you have a low-end PC like mine that has difficulty playing BF3 Ultra settings, then get Battlefield 4 for the PS4. The PS4's raw horsepower allows the game to run 900p at 60 FPS. The 60 FPS alone should be a good thing.
-Are their problems with servers like on PC version? Yes there are problems on the PS4 version like on PC however there is a problem only on the PS4 called Error CZ 34878-0. If you get this error, it means that you have a corrupted save file on your PS4 and the only way you can fix it is by deleting it. Servers crash half the time and the netcode can be atrocious sometimes.
-I have a PS4 and I saw Killzone:SF and so the question is is BF4 better than KS:ZF? I can't say however I can say that KZ has dedicated servers which could be a +1 for them vs BF4 on the PS4.
BF4 has the opportunity to get Multiplayer of the year and even Game of the Year (Watch TLOU get it mark my words) but unfortunately faces many problems across all platforms with servers crashing and all that happening. If DICE cannot fix the game within the year, then the final verdict for this game IMO is going to be a 6/10. If DICE can fix the game, then my final rating for the game is going to be a 9/10 because for those who are reading this. The biggest problem in the game is server crashes, other than that it's a great multiplayer game (Note Multiplayer)
Hopefully DICE won't do this with SW Battlefront.… Expand
