I have spent hundreds of hours on those games, and Skyrim with the legendary setting and a few mods is simply amazing. I am still playing it over 2 years after release.
HOW DISAPPOINTED AM I IN THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE? My groan of disappointment has been heard around the world, and has travelled through dark matter to reach the far corners of the galaxy. My disappointment is a 5 year old, on Christmas morning, waking to a kick in the face from Santa, my disappointment is a groom being told on his wedding day by his dream bride that he a loser, and she is off with his best friend, my disappointment is Jesus telling his flock 'Hey I am just a regular dude, get lost' - yes, THAT is how let down I am after waiting for something as great or better than Skyrim. ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE SUCKS! GIVE US ELDER SCROLLS 6!!! The successor to Skyrim! - a SINGLE PLAYER game that is even better than skyrim, the greatest RPG in history. It was within your reach, Bethesda, but the hand of greed stayed that wonderful opportunity, for a money grubbing letdown called ESO. For the LOVE OF GOD, how could you do this to us Elder Scrolls fans!! AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!
Oh- the ESO - bugged, boring,… Expand

The combat- lousy. Hack, slash, roll, throw a magic spell- and the notion of 'preparing' for combat by drinking such and such potion when facing such and such foes doesn't work when those foes appear out of nowhere. The quest pointer system doesn't work- of the 23 hours I spent playing this lousy game half of that time was spent running around in circles. No NSEW compass indicator, etc. You cannot jump over things, so to get over that foot high rock means backtracking down the path and hunting for an area where you are allowed to jump or climb. As for the story- I didnt buy the game for a good story, I bought it for a good RPG experience- which it is not.
This game will soon appear in bargain bins, and makes game ratings on the internet highly suspect, if a piece of crap like this can get so many good reviews. BTW- I loved Oblivion, fallout 3, fallout NV, skyrim (i prefer oblivion though) and was very disappointed with the Witcher 2.… Expand
