Unfortunately, what they delivered was a cookie cutter version of WOW with a slightly improved story line and voice over work. The fact that critics are creaming over this title only shows the influence and marketing dollars that EA wields over the mainstream gaming media. I really wanted to like this game and played my Sith Warrior to level 50 only to find myself grinding through boring dailies and PVP battles that almost always took place in the Hutt Ball arena due to the huge disparity between Republic / Empire players. Seriously, don't waste your money on this title - even the 1.2 update that Bioware swears includes the bells and whistles they wanted to have ready at launch, has been a miserable flop and added very little incentive to continue subscribing.

This is a story driven adventure that focuses more on the dynamics between characters and the moral dilemmas that they face than it is about running around bashing zombies repeatedly. This is not to say that there isn't a healthy dose of zombie bashing, in fact there is a good amount of that, but it's not the main driver, which if you follow the TV show or novels, is the whole point. It's about day by day survival, trust of those around you and the constant feeling that your days are numbered.
I really look forward to the future episodes and my only complaint with this first episode was the length which is why I didn't give it a 10. I finished it up in less than an hour, which at $5 isn't a huge disappointment, but I feel that they could have given us a bit more. My hope is that they continue delivering high quality content in the future and go beyond the five episodes that are already scheduled.
Final point: If you're a fan of the graphic novel series, I'd be shocked if you didn't really enjoy this game.… Expand
