For some reasons, I completely overlooked this game when it came out. Thanks to Sony, I downloaded when it was given to us. I enjoyed almost every moment of it. Cole, the hero, is very cool. His powers are too and I could not wait to get the next one. There was good variety of side quests and would rarely end up doing the same type of quests over and over. Playing both the main story and side quests simultaneously was the key to get most out of the game. I really enjoyed the storyline and can't wait to play the second game. I will definitely keep the game and might replay Cole to be infamous next time.… Expand

This game is a perfect example of that. The balance on the level difficulty is just right and simple here does not necessarily mean easy. The big problem thought is the lack of saves in between each levels. It will only save when you complete the set. I would not want the game to be easier, but one thing I hate is to have to replay over and over the same levels I have already done. For this reason I won't be playing this game again, but it's a shame because I really did like the game play.… Expand

Unfortunately, after close to four hours of play, I would say I am really disappointed. Let's start with the good things. Controls are great and move support is perfect. The game play is fun and the tutorials/tips make it easy to get started. Graphics are ok, but the texts are really small. On a 60 inch tv that would be fine, but on a smaller set it is hard to read at times if you are not close to the tv. Now the bad. First, the difficulty settings are not well balanced. If you take time to implement various difficulty settings, I believe there is no good point to make the easy setting hard. Don't take me wrong, I like when it is hard often, but if I make a choice, I expect it to be what it is intended for. Second, the save system is really what ruined it for me. You are only allowed to save after each mission and you only get one save. Save your game in a bad state and you have to start over the whole chapter. This means that if you complete a mission and you lost a few of your men, you have to judge before trying the next mission if your state is good enough. So if you are not willing to do your chapters over and over again, you will end up restarting your successful missions to make sure you did not lose any men just in case your next chapter would require to have them all.
Just being able to save have multiple saves would have done the trick. So in summary, good fun ruined by a bad save design. Could have spent hours on this game, but unless they fix this, this is the end for me. I don't have any interest in starting the chapters over and over again.… Expand
