All the while playing it, I was very impressed, but not really thinking that it was a 'masterpiece' that some people had claimed. I thought that until I got up to the end, and honestly everything I thought I knew about games went out the window. Definitely the most thought-provoking and mind-bending end to a game I've ever played... I literally said 'WTF' to my TV. Comparing this to the last 2 games does it no justice, it stands on its own as a great achievement in video games. Of course it's not without its faults, but really the story alone is the reason to experience Bioshock Infinite. I'm definitely going to play it again.… Expand

I just got it from XBL arcade for only 400 points... it may seem outdated in gameplay and graphics, but it's still very enjoyable! The story is really creative and interesting, and the gameplay kind of reminded me of the first time I played Rayman 2 for N64. This little game is a very fun adventure at a great price... definitely a top XBLA title!… Expand

The stand outLIMBO is one of my favourite games I have ever played. It convinced me that artistic expression can be found in video games. The stand out factor of this game is no doubt the dark, eerie aesthetic. The game has a unique look and feel that has yet to have been used in other games. The puzzles are challenging, but not too hard and eventually you will make it through. My only downside of this was the length, however I feel that LIMBO is a concept game, similar to the first Portal game. It is a breakthrough in gaming, however there is a lot left to explore and I hope there are plans to make more LIMBO.… Expand

Bungie have worked hard to combine the best of the Halo franchiseHands down, Halo Reach is the premiere shooter for the Xbox 360 console. Bungie have worked hard to combine the best of the Halo franchise into this game, and it has paid off. The game looks and plays fantastic, with some new impressive visuals powered by a newer game engine. Campaign featured a solid campaign with the perfect blend of storytelling, combat and landscapes. The multiplayer is the best for the Halo franchise yet with all new playlists, weapons and maps. There is a much greater focus on customization, as you can modify almost all aspects of your character's armour. The firefight mode is great, with a lot of options you can change to fit your desire. Forge is also revamped and there is a lot more you can do with it. Bungie/343 is also a great company, as they still support this game a year later, and you can access multiplayer stats and a lot of information on their website. Overall, Reach is a must-own for shooter fans on the Xbox 360.… Expand

It may not have the best graphics, or the best sound effects or the best non-glitchy gameplay, but by far it is an accomplishment in its own terms. The depth of this game is absolutely unparalleled. The landscapes are astonishing in detail. The musical score is exceptional. To me, this is definitely Game of the Year. There's an abundancy of quests to do, and a lot of new things that has been added to make this the best Elder Scrolls (possibly best Bethesda) title yet. Visually, the game features the best graphics of the series, and a huge scope of lands to explore. The voice acting is very well done, as well as the musical score which adds to the immense world. Down to mechanics, Skyrim gets everything right, from the intuitive interface and hand to hand combat. There are occasional glitches, but none large enough to render certain quests undoable or places impassable. Even if you aren't a huge RPG fan, Skyrim is a world to experience and is quite possibly one the best games ever created.… Expand

Battlefield 3 deserves to be seen it it's own light, and not compared to other games in the same genre. That aside, Battlefield 3 is a great game.
First off, multiplayer is massively addicting and satisfying. It is without a doubt one of the best looking games I've played in a while. I found the multiplayer to be a great improvement over Bad Company 2, with added in-depth customization, unlockables, jets and many other additions. The new maps also look beautiful, and feature a lot of interesting terrain. The destruction of terrain at times seems to be a step back from BFBC2, and there are a few balance issues, however DICE has been working to correct them. There is also the occasional glitch, but not enough to detract from the captivating gameplay that Battlefield 3's multiplayer offers.
For the campaign, the game is sub-par. It features an intestesting story, however it is somewhat poorly-executed. Plentiful quicktime events plague the game, as well as AI that is at times unfair and unfun to play against. I was disappointed that there was barely any use of vehicles, as for me that is a strong point in Battlefield's trademarked gameplay. On the plus, the campaign looks absolutely stunning with some impressive visuals thanks to a brand new graphics engine.
Overall, BF3 is a great multiplayer offering and how I feel true war-FPS multiplayer SHOULD be played. The campaign is a let-down, but don't let that keep you from buying this game. Totally worth it!… Expand
