I fired it up, launched the tutorial (was done in 5 minutes) and then jumped into an online game. I started as an Archer and with my first arrow fired slew a knight attacking one of my teammates with about a 60 yard shot. And then as my foe, fell to the ground, my teammate lopped off his head with his sword. Yeah it took all of 30 seconds into my first online match and I was hooked on this time killer! Great Buy if you get it on sale, don't feel bad if you paid full price the game is worth it.… Expand

Poor little guy doesn't understand corporate greed yet. I explained to him there once was a time where PC Gamers could purchase a game once, and enjoy it forever (Remember SimCity 4?). Now it looks like we've merely paid $60 to rent the opportunity to play in EA's sandbox the way they want us too. I made an effort to avoid those kids on the playground. I was excited about purchasing 3 copies so my sons and I could all play together. Now we've all decided to just share the one copy. Oh yeah, all you readers. There is even a clause right on the game CD case that states EA only needs to provide 30 days notice and then can shut down the servers for the game... until EA states otherwise, this is essentially telling you the game will be useless after that time!!! The ultra tiny maps just were the icing on the cake lol... Sorry EA. Big, Fat, Giant Fail. Since it's not possible for me to get a refund I'll just have to count on mine and the thousands (if not millions) of unhappy consumers who've taken to the blogosphere to and now you need to answer to everyone. Hopefully EA can make right. Remove the DRM (online only) play. Give us the larger maps, Let us save our games locally, let us play single player locally and let us enjoy the game for as long as we damn well please. We PAID for it!!!!… Expand

I am only about 30 minutes in and so far it feels like I am playing a game on rails. Way to linear.
1. The cut scene murder in the first mission is LAME. I don't want cut scenes, I want to execute hits!
2. Disguises don't mean anything... Heck, when you go through the first level and put on a disguise the game forgets you ever wore one, cue cut scene and you're back wearing 47's suit?!?
3. The checkpoint system is stupid, I feel like I am playing Cabelas Big Game Hunter.
4. Did I say this game feels like it's on rails?
I'll force myself to continue playing to see if the gameplay gets any better, but my initial impression is that they really messed this up.
All I really wanted (and I'm sure many other gamers too) was another bunch of levels added to Hitman Bloodmoney and maybe some updated graphics... Instead they radically changed the game for the worse.
Bloodmoney was almost the perfect hitman game... Why didn't they build off that?!?!… Expand

Sleeping Dogs so far has been a real treat and well worth the money I spent to download. (steam purchase for PC).
The story is mature enough to keep my attention, the voice acting etc.. is top notch and believable and the "Hong Kong" atmosphere the game is able to portray is fantastic.
Combat is fun and fluid and even after several hours of gameplay hasn't gotten stale yet... The combos are hard to remember (Am I just old?) but that doesn't detract from the combat, it's still fun. There is lots of potential for more content in form of DLC and even more games for the series and I would likely purchase again. If you like open world style games like GTA and Saints Row then you'd definitely be happy with this game.… Expand
