I have to give this a lower score though since it's the 4th day I've had the game and STILL can't get online! The real lack of communication from the developers and players suffering from this issue is awful.… Expand

It made Dead Island stand out from other 'Zombie' games. There were other areas to explore in the game too but the Resort stood out. Riptide is missing that great set piece. Now you're on a random island that lacks any unique setting. When you take away that fun and unique set piece, you're left with an okay zombie killing game full of fetch quests on a largely uninhabited island.… Expand

There's no denying it looks stunning and you'll often stop to look around at the environment you're in. You'll likely want to play certain checkpoints over and over again to take everything in.
With that said, Crysis 3 plays just as well as the others. The A.I. isn't any smarter and make for easy targets. With the new Predator Bow that allows you to kill without going out of Stealth, you'll often feel overpowered and maybe even cheap. If you're only interested in the Single Player experience, you're in for a short ride. The Campaign isn't very long following in many other FPS footsteps offering a fun ride but one that ends too soon. Crysis Vets will likely play the Campaign a few times to find all the hidden goodies and Nanosuit upgrades but for casual players that will play this once, you'll be paying for the beauty, not the substance.… Expand

SeeingFor a game called Sniper Elite, you spend a lot of time not sniping! It's a shame too because Sniping is a lot of fun in this game. Seeing the gruesome kills never gets old. The Pistol and Submachine Guns have terrible accuracy and don't do enough damage to enemies. I've shot enemies point blank with both weapons only to see them stumble and shoot at me like they're at full health. The game is fun when you're sniping but outside of it, it's very generic and not very fun.… Expand
Average User Score: 5.9Mar 9, 2012This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Mass Effect 3 is a brilliant game. For someone whose played the previous 2, there are lots of nods and implications for previous decisions and interactions. Playing through the game and randomly running into previous squad mates or characters is a treat. The game encourages you to explore and take in everything around you.
The Multiplayer is a lot of fun but it does have a few short comings. It points out to some of the combat issues that game has had since the beginning. Cover can still be sloppy and reviving can be a pain in the ass. Hopefully these things can be solved in the future with patches.
The only reason I won't give this game a 10 is the ending. I won't spoil the whole thing, but no matter which ending you pick, the same thing happens. A game that asks you to make your own choices and creates your own path leads to a very linear, scripted ending. I'm left asking more questions and demanding closure in what should have been a perfect 10 game.… Expand

If you don't have Xbox live or play Multiplayer games, wait to get this on sale because the Single Player isn't worth $60. If you love Multiplayer that rewards you for playing, this is a fantastic game. The maps are fantastic and large. There aren't a lot of modes to select from, but the large maps, multiple classes, squad options and vehicles will guarantee you the levels stay fresh and fun to play.… Expand

Black Ops was a let down and this game slips even further. If you've been buying COD games for the past few years, there's no need to pick this up. It isn't worth $60 hard earned dollars because it doesn't do anything to push the franchise forward. It plays the game, looks the same and offers the same multiplayer. Save your money for other fantastic games being released this year. The multiplayer plays the same as the previous 4 COD games with a few twists. The single player is over the top again but a forgettable story. If you really want this game, try and wait for a sale. There are plenty of other fantastic games to buy this fall.… Expand
