Average User Score: 7.9Jan 25, 2014Very good looking game. Great quest system, doesn't feel like a grind to get to 80. Mechanics are well-polished. Good sound effects and ambience.
Crafting is a complete and total waste of time.
Very very very few customization options for your toon. You can dye your armor. That's it. There are only about 3 different "skins" for gear for each class for about every 20 lvls. As you lvl you look like everyone else. When you hit 80, you look like you did when you were 20 and still like everyone else. Sure sure you can run 9000000000000 raid instances and maybe get something different. No thanks.
There's not even anything in the in game cash shop worth buying. Total waste of a cash shop IMO.
PVP.... game is supposed to be built around it. Q up, only 1 of 2 things happens. You wander around with NOTHING to do, and NOONE else in the zone.... OR you get insta zerg raped. Hooray.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.3Jul 22, 2013Another console port. No keyboard support, you have to use an Xbox controller. Graphics are low res Xbox crap.
Good news: I paid $2.49 on a Steam sale.
Bad news: I wasted $2.49 on a complete and utter steaming pile of crap.… Expand
Average User Score: 7.2May 25, 2013Graphics are passible if you use an SMAA or FXAA injector. Very very very poorly done. Character creation is sad, and is male only. Voice acting is so bad they should have stuck with subtitles only. Game is not an RPG it's an extremely linear 3rd person shooter with a clunky interface and some very limited elements of crafting. NOT worth what they are charging, wait until this is on sale on steam for $2.99.... and even then, pass.… Expand
Average User Score: 3.6Apr 12, 2013Graphically it's not terrible. However, it's definitely NOT pretty enough to justify the lag.
Very niche game, very few people like all PVP all the time. I was used to this, played UO forever (back when there were NO safe zones), so this is not a "the game is bad cuz I died" review. This is a game is not going to last because the vast majority of the MMORPG community would prefer to have a PVE area for leveling, and then a persistent PVP area See Dark Ages of Camelot for a game that was set up well (had balance issues, but the framework was right)
Not an MMORPG. Sorry, it's not. It's an MMOFPS with a very few RPG elements, most of which you'll not get to experience too much due to the PVP, player killing, and griefing.
It's FIRST person ONLY. MMORPG's are generally THIRD person, with a first person option. Why even bother to have character customization a STAPLE of MMORPG's when you never even get to see your character?
MASSIVE time consuming download and install. 8+ hours to get this thing up and running on my cable provider's max broadband speed package.
Flawed all the way around not even worth a download as F2P recommend avoiding.… Expand
Average User Score: 8.5Apr 1, 2013I give it a 2 for being pretty. Other than that, wait until it re-releases for $4.99 on a Steam sale. Game is not open world RPG/Action. Game is a some user-participation required never-ending cutscene. Kinda sucks all the fun out of it when EVERY critical even it scripted. Whole lotta potential here before they killed it.… Expand
Average User Score: 8.5Dec 31, 2012The good: It's pretty.
The bad: Pretty much the rest of the game. Poor controls (non-customizable, feels like a bad Xbox port) no open world, you can't jump?, interface is bad, NOT an RPG, combat is horribly clunky, no replayability... really, very poorly done. I honestly bet the mod community could write a "witcher" mod and have it done in half the time, on 0 budget, and have it play 2000% better.
It get's 1 pt from me for the graphics, but nothing else.… Expand
