It’s the sort of buoyant, all-ages entertainment that Hollywood has been laboring to revive in recent years (most recently with Hairspray) but hasn’t managed to get right until now, and the glue holding it all together is the incomparable Adams (an Oscar nominee for 2005’s Junebug), who gives the kind of blissful screwball performance that seemed to go out of fashion after "I Love Lucy" left the airwaves.

This is an absolute adorable movie. This movie took a fairy tale like story and modernized it. Although it changes from cartoon to real life it is an enjoyable film for everyone. It was nice to see a movie that was not all about violence and sex. This a great movie for kids as well as adults. This movie filled with warmth was definitely worth my money.

When an animated fairy tale princess (Amy Adams) winds up in a live-action reality, the result is destined to be entertaining. And “Enchanted” is just that. Screenwriter Bill Kelly, director Kevin Lima, and a talented comedic cast deliver this delightful tale with enthusiasm and a healthy spoonful of Disney magic. Amy Adams is the perfect princess – real or animated – she has the mannerisms, the voice, the ideals, the woodland friends, the dress; it is impossible not to fall in love with her. “Enchanted” is sometimes corny (the lyrics will make you laugh out loud), but always in good spirit; it will satisfy your craving for a good old-fashioned fairy tale (which you are bound to have once you sit down to the introduction).

A wonderful, cheerful film that, for a change, has no bitter, sardonic edge. Really enjoyable for everyone, and will help older folks recover some of the simple joy of living they thought they had lost.
