Portland Oregonian Diana Abu-Jaber
Director Stephen Elliott has acquitted himself admirably in creating this serious thriller.

Tries to blend old film noir and new high-tech thriller styles with only sporadic impact.

Watchable even when what's going on makes no sense whatsoever.

Elliot fails to make the needed connection between the audience and a peeper who has lost his moral balance.

As meticulously deranged as its paranoid protagonist.

A hackneyed psycho-sexual thriller with enough awkwardly executed Hitchcock references to qualify as a bad DePalma knock-off.

Scott G. gave it a2:
Good elements: mood, pacing, Ashley Judd, a sense of danger, Ashley Judd, and -- uh -- Ashley Judd. Bad elements: the story, k.d. Lang (great singer, bad actor), the ending. It's interesting to watch, and totally forgettable once it's over.

florian o. gave it a0:
Waste of time.

Fred W. gave it a1:
Incoherent is the term that doesn't even begin to describe this mess. Ashley Judd doing a poor imitation of Angelina Jolie - Suggest that the best use of this DVD is skeet shooting.

Graeme E. gave it a 1:
I like Ewan McGregor, but from one Scot to another this film was awful.
