Hugely uncreative rip-off of "John Carpenter's Vampires" gets two points for a strangely sick and erotic opening. Other than that, pass.

So much for the Film.com review (above). I should have know that when I rolled into the theater with my two buddies on opening night and we more than doubled the audience size that this was going to be bad. Brendan Fehr ("Roswell") was solid, but the movie wasn't the least bit suspenseful, scary, or even funny. Kerr Smith needs to scurry back to "Dawson's Creek" while he still has a semblance of a career.

Congratulations, you have officially beaten "She-Devil" and "Cabin Boy" as the worst movie of all time. Stick around for the first minute, watch the gratuitous naked boobie scene, and sneak into another movie!

If there hadn't been any nudity in this piece of garbage, the evening would have been a total loss. Brendan Fehr was good, but he couldn't save this disaster.

A copy of "John Carpenter's Vampires" for the high-school boy set. For the classic vampires out in the desert story, see Kathryn Bigelow's "Near Dark," or even "From Dusk Till Dawn."
