Now, all that stand between Joe Keegan and "The Tonight Show" is the Godfather of Green Bay (Goldwyn), a former high school football star turned drug dealer.

Chicago Tribune Michael Wilmington
Though the movie is pretty stereotypical and sometimes crude, it also has a sweet laid-back temper. It has amusing moments.

Schwaba's uncertainty as a director is underlined by the almost arbitrary jump cuts, freeze-frames, and sped-up action.
