USA Today Dennis Hunt
Zealots flip over Endgame.
Boston Globe Loren King
Offers some entertaining moments now and then in its relatively short running time.
Chicago Tribune Vicky Edwards
Has to explain itself through so much of the film that there's just not much film left.
TV Guide Maitland McDonagh
This convoluted, time and continent-tripping tale is heavy on the adolescent angst and swoony romanticism.

This is a movie full of now-you-see-it, now-you-don't plot points.
Read Full Review >Los Angeles Times Kevin Thomas
Looks sensational, moves like lightning. But its script (by Joel Soisson) makes no pretense about being logical or even comprehensible.
Read Full Review >Austin Chronicle Russell Smith
And next time around... show the courage of your lowbrow convictions and get back to the gonzo, unapologetically senseless mayhem that made this saga so much fun in the beginning.
Read Full Review >Variety Derek Elley
The sheer raggedness of the plotting -- and the pic's cynical disdain toward audiences -- is staggering.

Thinking (logically or otherwise) about this movie is a waste of your brain cells.
New York Post Jonathan Foreman
Shapeless, tedious, hopelessly bad sequel.
LA Weekly Paul Malcolm
While the film is well-paced, visually it is deathly dull.

Endgame has become a nincompoop's travelogue, drenched in stage blood, fake beards, and crappy special effects.

Fredrick T. gave it an8:
Was it the best movie ever made? No, but if you were a fan of the series, this was a nice wrap up. Adrian Paul was the only thing that saved this movie, had it been another movie with only Chris Lambert, I would suggest you run.
Mark S. gave it a3:
Please, the series was od, and great at times. A. Paul played a great Duncan, Lambert stinks the joint constantly. The first highlander is the only thing he hasn't been absolutely atrocious in. I feel bad for Paul that he is among so many dolts of 'movie' making.
Jennifer H. gave it a10:
Dude, it wasn't THAT bad. I have to raise the rating....they must be encouraged to make more.
Patrick R. gave it a 1:
Did ANYONE establish that Conor had already won the tournament...TWICE! The only good thing about this film is the music. If you are a fan of the first movie do not watch the rest! TRUST ME! Take a hike Duncan, Conor kicks ass!!!
Gilbert McMulroneycakes gave it a 0:
Oh, make it go away. For crying out loud, make them stop doing this. The first was pretty good, if empty. The second was alright if you don't actually "watch" it. The third was terrible, even if you ignored it. And I can't even be ARSED to talk about the fourth anymore.
Deus M. gave it a 0:
Man, I can't understand how or why one would make this movie! It seems like a lead in for the TV Series (which wasn't that good anyways). Go with Highlander 1-3! Conner RULES!
