Ignacio M. gave it a10:
Clarion call to long-delayed public and governmental action on carbon emissions, and began the current push toward environmentally sound energy research (now accelerated by rising fuel prices).
Tim C. gave it a0:
Anyone who watched this movie and thought now they knew everything about this anthropogenic global warming issue is utterly deluded! this movie was nothing but a self-serving propaganda campaign and a scare-mongering strategy! the movie did not address a single argument against the AGW issue and instead delivered a 98 min rhetoric on the "catastrophe" facing mankind! the many inaccuracies and blatant lies stated in this movie are so nauseating only a lay person with zero scientific knowledge would buy the ridiculous claims made in 'An Inconvenient Truth'.
Mike R. gave it a0:
A convenient lie, absolutely no basis in fact, a fallacy.
Mike G. gave it a0:
wonderful work of fiction. A british judge ruled that in order for school children to watch the movie, the teacher must cite the 9 (confirmed) lies in the movie, such as the gulf stream eventually stopping.people that gave this movie a 10 should be embarrassed, is man made carbon emissions making the temp. go up on Mars as well? no, the sun is hotter than ever. Finally, Gore seems content on keeping 3rd world countries in the dark ages while not even practicing the policies and restrictions that he preaches
M S gave it a0:
Complete lack of scientific evidence to back up claims as evidenced by the courtcase in the UK blocking misuse of this inaccurate political film. Only shows one side of the story. History repeats itself, every other planet in our solar system is also heating up to some degree, are the inhabitants on those planets also responsible for the sun changing their non-inhabited planets? The ice is actually increasing in Antarctica. There are two sides to every story, this is just one.
The Critic Strine gave it a10:
The most important movie I will ever see. I am 12 years old and I came out of the theatre with tears in my eyes. And to any of the critics that gave it anything under a 75 I say to them, screw you!
Dan S. gave it a10:
I read a lot and thought that I knew the essentials of the global warming threat. Yet, after finally seeing this film on DVD here in Thailand, I was startled. Educated Thais and other Asians I've met here have seen and experienced many problems, but they are also more concerned about this crisis than I had anticipated. This is an idea whose time has come, and Al Gore has delivered it quite well. PS: The New York Post is a Murdoch publication, so its film reviewer can be expected to give this a low score. But who is Phil Hall and what is "Film Threat"? Are they the frauds here? Anyhow, the readers gave Gore's film an average of 88, a very high rating.
