Summary

RATING: Not rated

Starring Billy Zane

Overcoming a nurse, and dressing in her clothes, a madman escapes from Hope Sanitarium. The film is quintessential Ed Wood with a modern twist - no dialogue, only atmospheric sounds, alternating bursts of laughter and screams, and a wonderful soundtrack. (Cinnequanon Pictures)

TV Guide Maitland McDonagh

An amazing artifact; the decor and lighting mix '70s tackiness with odd '50s touches, the sound design is elaborate.

Mark B gave it a10:
Different from the film Wood would have made, but like his films it is a piece of oddball genius mistaken for trash. Zane is godlike (again).

MILF Hunter gave it a0:
Fossilized poo would be more interesting to watch.

Kelton T. gave it a10:
I've never even seen this film, but I know even posthumously,Ed would've wanted it the way it is.The mainstream critics are'nt supposed to like Ed's films.Even if they are a cult icon nowadays.I've read every thing I could get my hands on about this movie, and it sounds fantastic. With I may add,an all star cast.Billy Zane,Christina Ricci,Tippi Hedren, and so on.Ed,thanks for this Gem in a modern age awash with glib corporate cynisim and utterly unremarkable Hollywood tripe.
