TV Guide Maitland McDonagh

Director/co-writer/co-producer Jon Gunn's Christian agenda is evident without being intolerably sanctimonious, and he's a competent filmmaker who shows sign of having a little style.

Los Angeles Times Kevin Thomas

The filmmakers cannot sustain enough momentum to keep their film from seeming contrived and preachy.

Variety Scott Foundas

No mere crime drama, but rather the latest in the recent resurgence of independently financed, spiritually themed pics that seek to couch religious dogma within the shells of B-grade genre entertainment.

Austin Chronicle Marrit Ingman

Like "Reservoir Dogs" by way of Ned Flanders, Mercy Streets is as earnest as Vacation Bible School and somewhat more cinematic.

Casey W. gave it a10:
This is a great movie.

Jeff H. gave it a 10:
It touched me. David White is brilliant in his dual role.

Autumn L. gave it a 10:
This movie is one of the best ever made.

Jorge S. gave it a 6:
I think this movie was a good effort from the makers as is obviuosly a low budget movie. But I think the general production was OK (sometimes very good). The plot could be better, but is fairly good. The general acting is OK, most of it believable, maybe sometimes on White's acting as a priest is weakest part. Music was very good, but I think they have to lower the volume to a better level in some parts, when they were talking you could'nt hear very well what was being said. But generally speaking is a fairly good movie that you can have your teens to see, no foul language, and it has a good message, though it could be better expressed. Go see it with no expectations and you'll have a good time.
