The Hollywood Reporter Kirk Honeycutt
Few films have ever ended on such a low, anti-climatic note as The Zodiac.
Read Full Review >LA Weekly Tim Grierson
The Zodiac regurgitates a lifetime of police-thriller conventions, adding an aura of laughable solemnity in the hope of making the plot seem less banal.
Read Full Review >Los Angeles Times Kevin Crust
Unfortunately, the film lacks the suspense and drama to carry the psychological burden placed on it by its makers. Plot strands are dropped like so much lint, and it ends so abruptly that you wonder whether the filmmakers ran out of money, ideas or both.
Read Full Review >San Francisco Chronicle Peter Hartlaub
Although the movie doesn't turn the Zodiac saga into a slasher film, it has the look of a straight-to-video movie, or at best a Project Greenlight production.
Read Full Review >Entertainment Weekly Owen Gleiberman
The Zodiac has been made with the dunderheaded flatness of bad '70s TV.

Arjun gave it a5:
The movie rolls on in its own creepy way. Though one would have expected more with the prolific cast and the theme.
Kyle S. gave it a9:
This is truly a masterwork of a maturing filmmaker. The fanboys wont like it, but it's a fine pic. Great performances accorss the board.
[Anonymous] gave it a0:
Plenty of smoking and drinking, a few murders, little dialogue worth speaking, and totally devoid of credible acting. A total waste of 92 minutes of my life.
[Anonymous] gave it a3:
manages to be one of the most unwatchable and unenjoyable films recently released despite its potentioal and good cast.
[Anonymous] gave it a0:
This movie goes down in history as one of the worst films of the last 10 years. It is a discrace to man kind and the only reason it could be enjoyable would be to laugh at its meer existance in modern day society.
