A perfect date movie for boys and girls, boys and boys, and boys just pretending to like boys.

New York Daily News Jami Bernard

A thin, by-the-numbers romantic comedy that nevertheless features one saving grace: Matthew Perry.

Best to wait until the movie makes it to TV - where its missteps will loom less large.

A cute, often very funny romantic comedy and an effective vehicle for Matthew Perry.

So much of Three to Tango is calculated to push the proper emotional buttons that it's ultimately unsatisfying.

Dismayingly predictable and rote, a simple premise played out in the most obvious way possible.

The vapid plot line follows the same narrative arc as "Tootsie" but hasn't the heart or purpose of that film.

TV Guide Ken Fox

An uncomfortable go at romantic comedy that belabors the same mistaken-for-gay premise as"In & Out," but without much of that film's charm.

I didn't think Matthew Perry could find a romantic comedy more inert or inane than the 1997 fiasco ''Fools Rush In.''

What Our Users Said

The average user rating for this movie is 6.0 (out of 10) based on 4 User Votes

Note: User votes are NOT included in the Metascore calculation.

Gilbert gave it a 6:
Actually not THAT bad. Certainly better than it could have been, it passes the time well enough - certainly better than being ripped apart by a pack of ravenous wolves. Still, Matthew Perry deserves better than this.

Tom W. gave it an 8:
This is a good movie to watch at night with a some drinks a good film that gets you watching until the end.

Michael C. gave it a 6:
Campbell is charming, Platt is typically funny and Perry is pretty good, but he should best stick to Friends. Dylan McDermott is annoying. As for the movie as a whole, it is fun to watch, and has some good ideas, but it doesn't come out on top because it is a little too formulaic.

Jacques R. gave it a 4:
Very average. Dylan McDermott should stick to his crappy day job ("The Practice"). At least I don't have to pay to see that nonsense.
