#1	93 Inside Out Walt Disney/Pixar Following a few rare critical duds (and an even more uncommon year without a single release), Pixar returned in a big way this summer with this emotional comedy set inside the mind of an 11-year-old girl. Inside Out was the animation studio's highest-scoring film in eight years, and third-highest of all time (beneath only WALL-E and Ratatouille).
#2	91 Timbuktu Cohen Media Group An Oscar nominee (from Mauritania) for best foreign-language film, Abderrahmane Sissako’s follow-up to 2006’s Bamako examines the impact of Jihadists and their enforcement of sharia law on the people of Timbuktu in Mali. Watch now:
#3	90 Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem Music Box Films Critics raved about this provocative, well-acted Israeli drama about a religious woman (Ronit Elkabetz, who also wrote and directed the film along with her brother Shlomi) who spends years before a tribunal of rabbis seeking permission to divorce her husband. #4	89 Gangs of Wasseypur Cinelicious Pics This 2012 Indian cult hit, which traces seven decades in the lives of competing mafia-like families in an Indian mining town over the course of five violent hours, finally made its first appearance in American theaters early this year, to the delight of critics. #5	89 Mad Max: Fury Road Warner Bros. The fourth film in any series—and especially one that follows a 30-year gap between installments—has no right being this good. But George Miller's latest trip to his near-future wasteland is this year's best action film, bar none—and probably the best example of the genre to come along in many years.
