93 Inside Out Walt Disney/Pixar
Following a few rare critical duds (and an even more uncommon year without a single release), Pixar returned in a big way this summer with this emotional comedy set inside the mind of an 11-year-old girl. Inside Out was the animation studio's highest-scoring film in eight years, and third-highest of all time (beneath only WALL-E and Ratatouille).

91 Timbuktu Cohen Media Group
An Oscar nominee (from Mauritania) for best foreign-language film, Abderrahmane Sissako’s follow-up to 2006’s Bamako examines the impact of Jihadists and their enforcement of sharia law on the people of Timbuktu in Mali. Watch now:

90 Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem Music Box Films
Critics raved about this provocative, well-acted Israeli drama about a religious woman (Ronit Elkabetz, who also wrote and directed the film along with her brother Shlomi) who spends years before a tribunal of rabbis seeking permission to divorce her husband. Watch now:

89 Gangs of Wasseypur Cinelicious Pics
This 2012 Indian cult hit, which traces seven decades in the lives of competing mafia-like families in an Indian mining town over the course of five violent hours, finally made its first appearance in American theaters early this year, to the delight of critics. Watch now:

89 Mad Max: Fury Road Warner Bros.
The fourth film in any series—and especially one that follows a 30-year gap between installments—has no right being this good. But George Miller's latest trip to his near-future wasteland is this year's best action film, bar none—and probably the best example of the genre to come along in many years.

Tom Six's conclusion to his increasingly disgusting Human Centipede trilogy isn't just the worst film in the series: it's also the lowest-scoring film in a decade. Of course, it was matched just a few months later by ...

... this FIFA-funded look at the rise of Sepp Blatter. Of course, Blatter resigned amid scandal just three days before his film debuted in the United States. It lasted all of three days in theaters, and its sub-$1,000 gross marks it as one of the biggest flops in cinema history.

Mad Max: Fury Road is the best movie I've seen thus far, and by far.

  • SupahDoges

I just saw Inside Out yesterday and it was a very good film.
    Made me cry sometimes ;3

  • AGN

I haven't seen many of these films but Inside Out easily takes the trophy in my opinion.

Amazed to see Taken 3, Mortdecai and Unfinished Business miss out on the bottom 10; it must have been an abnormally **** year for film if there's ten worse than those three

As for the best, I thought Mr Holmes was great
