	The Acolyte Trailer Sci-fi/Drama: It's yet another live-action Star Wars series. Hooray? Unlike the previous shows (but similar to the animated series Young Jedi Adventures), The Acolyte is set during the waning days of the High Republic era—for any younglings out there, that means about a century before any of the best-known Skywalkers, Kenobis, or Binkses came to prominence. The Sith-focuses series follows a formwer padawan played by Amandla Stenberg (The Hate You Give) and her one-time Jedi Master played by Squid Game's Lee Jung-jae as they team up to investigate a sinister and growing conspiracy. The series comes from writer-director Leslye Headland (Russian Doll) and also stars Jodie Turner-Smith, Manny Jacinto, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Charlie Barnett. Is there a Wookiee Jedi? 	Clipped Drama: If the Lakers can have their own prestige drama series, why not the Los Angeles Clippers? (We can think of a few reasons.) Originally titled The Sterling Affairs (also the name of the ESPN podcast that serves as the show's source material), this six-episode FX production traces the downfall of one-time Clippers owner Donald Sterling (Ed O'Neill), who ultimately lost the team after a messy (and public) feud with his wife and the release of audio of Sterling making racist remarks. Laurence Fishburne plays Clippers coach Doc Rivers, Jacki Weaver plays Shelly Sterling, and Cleopatra Coleman plays Sterling's mistress V. Stiviano. Two episodes stream today.	Hulu

Another key change: The new series features an all new cast and characters as it jumps forward in time to the year 2052, when a mysterious new cloning experiment leaves a group of women attempting to figure out who they are. Those About to Die Trailer Drama: Is 2024 the year of the gladiator? In addition to getting a sequel to Ridley Scott's Gladiator this fall, we first have this big-budget streaming historical epic centering on Ancient Rome's gladitorial entertainment complex from producer Roland Emmerich (Independence Day) and screenwriter Robert Rodat (Saving Private Ryan). The adaptation of the 1958 nonfiction book by Daniel Mannix (also the inspiration for the first Gladiator film) features one big name in its cast: Anthony Hopkins, who plays the Roman Emperor Vespasian, who oversaw construction of the Colosseum. All ten episodes—including five directed by Emmerich—are available to stream today.
